How do I display the file path of the file I'm working on in the workspace? I have files with same name in different folders and it gets confusing.

Is it now possible to resize in mm using a defined dpi in version 2?

Is this a version 2 feature? It sounds similar to RawTherapee where the settings are saved in a sidecar file.

Why is the native Affinity Photo file size so humungous? I have a .dng file which is 26.9MB when I save it it becomes 292.5MB. The file has only 4 flat layers. It's even bigger than a .psd file.

Is there a way to prevent the document resizing to fill the screen after you resize a document in Affinity Photo? If you're working on icons it's annoying when they become massive after resizing.

Basically I don't think you can do it. If you have an object filled with a Pantone color and select it there's no way of knowing what the Pantone is as far as I can see? Which seems dumb.

Any update on this, when you're working on files locally and Dropbox it can get confusing as to which one you're editing. Simple things like this can be annoying. Maybe have an option to show the full path or just filename in the tab header?

Thanks for the tip. Usually the adjustments appears as a sub layer but they were appearing above in a layer. To reselect the second wheel object I did a workaround by selecting the background then inverting the selection.

I'm struggling with AP with adjusting individual layers. I have a photo of a car where I want to try showing different coloured wheels so I trace the wheels and paste into new layers. When I try to adjust the exposure of the wheel layers it changes the exposure for the whole picture - not helpful. So I go to reselect to isolate a wheel and apply adjustment and it works, just the wheel is changed. But when I select next wheel layer and go to Reselect it reselects the wheel I've just altered! So how do I tell it to reselect the last selection of the layer I'm currently working in? I know in Photoshop it remembers the selection from the layer you are working in.

Retried the next day and it worked.

Hi, I downloaded the free brushes for Designer from my Affinity account but they didn't appear in my downloads folder. Where do they actually go, and how do I know I've got them? I'm used to manually installing software. Thanks!

Hi, why is it that when you select a grouping of objects in Designer then click off there's a purple glow animation? I find it distracting and a bit unnecessary.

Where is the vignette filter, I thought it was under Layer > New Live Filter Layer menu? I've selected the layer and it's an RGB JPG but the option isn't there?

OK, I think I've found the culprit lol. Somehow I had the clipping alarms switched on, doh!

Thanks, changing the RAW engine to Apple Core has improved the matter a lot, but still a few white pixels hanging around. However, now I also have a couple of blue line artefacts - see attached picture. I suspect it's Sony's aggressive lossy RAW compression that is the culprit, but other raw engines don't have this issue. Interestingly when I open a Fuji RAF files it doesn't like it at all! See second attachment. I don't remember having these issues before.

Hi, I seem to getting some weird random white pixelation when I open Sony A7 .ARW raw files in Affinity on my Mac. See attached 100% screen grab. I don't see this at all in Capture One or RawTherapee. I think it's a processing error? Anyone get this?

Yep, ability to edit the copyright field in the EXIF would be good.
