dutchshader got a reaction from Goofy in PMS Colors?
From the pantone website:
What is the difference between coated (C) and uncoated (U)?
PMS colors marked with a C mean that the color is printed on coated paper for a glossy finish, as you would see in a magazine. This is desirable for sharp and complex designs, as the ink stays on top of the paper, preventing bleeding. Likewise, a U indicates uncoated paper, which has a more porous finish, common on letterhead. Uncoated paper is generally more absorbent of ink than coated, reducing sharpness.

dutchshader got a reaction from servicesenthy in Can't edit Text once created?
somehow the text has been rasterised, in the layers panel it says pixel.
this should be frame text or art text.

By horsing around, perhaps?
Draw an outline, choose the Pen Tool and click at the vertices of the zigzag line that you want to draw. Then hide the outline that you started with.

dutchshader reacted to Kasper-V in Pattern layers and cross-your-eyes stereo
I came across a book from the 1990s of stereograms -- those weird patterns where if you crossed (or diverged) your eyes you would eventually see a solid three-dimensional image. Or not: some people could never manage it. But it made me think I might make something similar with APhoto layers. Here's a couple of fairly successful efforts. I created a pattern layer based on a rectangle of a particular width with images clipped inside, then another layer on top with a wider rectangle. A fair bit of trial and error was involved too!
To view the effect, look at the image from a comfortable distance, then cross your eyes until two humbugs or dolls overlap. With a little practice, you'll find the details suddenly come into focus and you'll see three layers at different depths. (In fairness, I must admit that a few people never get the hang of it, so if it doesn't work for you, it's no fault of your own. But try again in an hour or tow, or a day or two: sometimes it's easier than others.)

dutchshader reacted to Solly in Pattern layers and cross-your-eyes stereo
I got the first one to sync rapidly, but the second one took a few minutes. These kinds of images are always very fun to view. Thanks for sharing!

Or just take a (complete) selection of the lamp on the left, copy it, flip it horizontally, move to the right and clean up as required
