    Well i did not duplicate the image, just one image and divided the image with the shapes.

    i did this one, just converted the image to curves. created some shapes and divided. i did not use any clipping or masking.

    Just made 1 and the rest was copy and subtract.

    i have tryed some more, and a puzzle can be made this way.

    i did it this way, create 5 closed shapes than copy the picture and paste inside (ctrl alt v) in each shape. this is the result.

    maybe using a solid texture brush will give just one color. i have made one and it looks like there is only one color used. test edge.zip

    in the align dropdown menu you you can set align to first selected, works ok here.

    for a work around, create a shape and paste style than copy this style and paste style on your text. now only the fill and line style are pasted.

    with a little copy and past i came to this:

    looks like the size shown in the transform panel is the square size and not the length of the line. black is transform panel size, and red is calculated size

    Hello ajitid, Set the brush fill and line color to none, now it should work.

    on the way down, starting at 7, i get 5.95. 7-15%=5.95.
