A bit off-topic, but since in either app the Gradient Tool can be used to create this effect, why is there a separate Transparency Tool in AD to begin with? What does it offer that the Gradient Tool does not?

It seems to me the Transparency Tool is just a lesser version of Gradient Tool that does not offer color adjustments.

    maybe for something like this?

So were these relative path links, & if so can you either paste the text you used with Affinity Publisher into a reply, or post the .afpub file itself?

As it is, there are so many variables & so little documentation that without help from the staff I suspect we will never figure out how it is supposed to work, what is buggy, or much of anything else. :(

they were just paths to the file, the relative link was created on export to pdf.

    i didn't save the file.

For that to work, one thing you'll have to do is edit the Hyperlink path to make it relative. You'll first need to click the ... in the Text > Interactive > Insert Hyperlink dialog to locate the file, then you'll need to remove everything prior to the file name. Or, depending on how you package it, you may need to make other adjustments; without more details of your directory organization on your system and in the exported package I can't say for sure.

Then you'll need to manually package your PDF and the file(s) you've hyperlinked into a new directory.

I  think there is no need to edit the hyperlink, when "include file on export" is checked in the hyperlink menu. Than in the exported pdf the hyperlinks are relative.

I’ll add that the cricut series machines also connect to the computer and work with their programs (design studio before and cricut craft room now, before Explore) they even have an additional device for the machines - gypsy is called. I had cricut first version, and I was very unhappy. Kraft room constantly threw a mistake, cut poorly, etc., in general, acquired a cameo in exchange. Now it suits me in all respects (after the cricket, of course!) From personal experience I can say that if expore is better, then it's cool, but I still have some sediment, and I'm not in a hurry to change my cameo. Cricket has a disgusting support service, they often write about it on

How to Upload SVG Files into Silhouette Studio Software:
    1. Open up Silhouette Studio.
    2. In the upper left corner select FILE > OPEN, or use the shortcut CTRL+O for PC users, or click the open folder icon.
    3. An explorer window will pop open and you can locate the file on your computer. Select the file and Click OK.

But only with the payd designer edition of studio
