This issue hasn't been solved yet, has it?

People say they love Affinity. Apparently not enough to support the team behind it.
They want new features, but don't want to pay for it.
Last time I checked businesses have bills to pay.
So, if you've paid $50 five years ago, how are they supposed to run forever?
Also, I do think there are lots of features missing and I am disappointed for that. I hate to spend money, but I'm aware they need money to keep working.

I've just encountered the same problem myself. Fixed it my turning off the feature "Files On-Demand" on Onedrive.

Hey guys,
Check this out. AF tried to combine these two shapes with only 4 nodes, removing the one at the bottom and making the new shape round.
Edit: I've tried combining the rectangle with a triangle and it's worked fine.

When I have two square shapes touching each in AD I always see a small gap between them. I'm absolutely sure they are touching each other. The gap is the same zooming in or out.
Can someone tell me why this is happening?

Hey guys, I was hoping you could help me out. I'm trying to create some textures to use in Affinity Designer and save them as assets.
Should I create them as vector or PNG and can you explain why? I tend to think that vector is better, but it's way too heavy.

Hey guys,
Is there a way to reflect an object in Affinity Designer?
I know I can duplicate an item, flip it and then move it to create the reflection.
But is there a way I can do it in a single click?

I just want to register that, after months trying to find a solution without sucess, I've solved my problem regarding the pressure sensitivity of my Wacom CTL-480 by upgrading my Windows 7 to Windows 10.

Hello again Mark. I was so excited to see this new update ... hoping that I could now use Affinity on my larger screen - sadly this still isn't possible and the program still becomes huge on the large screen, making it unusable for me.
"My second screen (resolution 1920x1080 magnified 125%) The image is okay on my laptop screen (resolution 3840x2160 magnified 250%)
Prior to this and the previous update both worked perfectly. Any ideas please?

Just to let you guys know, I've got a screen with that resolution, a LG 29, and it's working just fine for me. I use windows 7 though.

Make new path from contour offset

Hi @BenjaminM, I totally agree with you. I often need both shapes for my projects, and having to duplicate them every time is an extra step that I wish I didn’t have to take. I hope the developers will add a feature to create a new path from contour offset in the future. In the meantime, I use the workaround suggested by @NotMyFault. It works well for me, but it would be nice to have a simpler option.
