Whenever I Undo or Redo, with gestures or tapping the arrows, I get popup text right in the middle of the screen telling me what I undid or redid... but this gets in the way of things and is distracting. Is there a way I can turn these popups off? They get very annoying when I am doing line work and need to rapidly undo and redo lines, and these popups are constantly flashing and in my way. Thanks!

Installation of Software and Updates
If you’ve purchased from the Affinity Store— each time you start the software it will check for updates and offer to download and install any available update. For the macOS release, in the application main menu there is an option "Check for Updates". Alternatively, you can download the latest installer by logging into the affinity store here and find the order in your account and use the "download" button in there. Updates are installed automatically (or manually by installing the new version over the old) Previous builds do not need uninstalling first. New installations of paid software downloaded from the Affinity Store requires a product key and email pair to use.
Software downloaded from the Mac App Store, Microsoft Store and iPad store do not require a product key and are updated through the relevant store: 
If you’ve purchased from the Mac App Store— updates are done automatically next time you run your software after it is available in the Mac App Store. However, you do need to be logged in with the same Apple ID you used to buy them. If this does not happen for you, open the Mac App Store app and go to the Updates page and then Store > Reload page or press CMD+R. This should hopefully force the update to show. Apple sometimes phase roll outs around the world which can mean it may take up to 72 hours for your update to be available.
If you’ve purchased from the Microsoft Store— Microsoft Store updates are done automatically by the operating system (each time you start the application). If this does not happen for you, open the Windows Store app and click the three dots in the top right corner of the app and then go to Downloads and Updates. Click Get Updates. This should hopefully force the update to show.
If you’ve purchased from the Pad Store— Your Affinity iPad apps should update automatically next time you run them. However, you do need to be logged in with the same Apple ID you used to buy them. If the automatic update does not happen for you, go to the iPad Store app and go to Updates. Once you’re there, tap near the top of the screen where it states 'Updates' and then hold, pull down and then release. This should manually refresh the updates page. However, don’t contact us if the updates are not available for you yet—Apple sometimes phase roll outs around the world and this can take up to 24 hours.

Title says it all. Google PageSpeed is recommending the use of these formats, but AP doesn't support any of them. Please, if possible, do.

You have to set the Fill mode to Alternate (go to menu Layer ▸ Fill Mode ▸ Alternate after performing the boolean operation or alternatively set the bottom shape Fill layer mode to Alternate before performing the boolean operation).

No, you can use them to design icons but currently we don't export/support .ico files.
I'm moving this thread to the Feature Requests section.

It is because the gray pallet lies to you.
 
It really is an RGB mix. Even though the CMYK slider will report a black only value, it is a mix.
 
If you move the black slider a skosh and move it back to the desired value, you'll see the object's color change to correctly display and output. 
 
I have reported this and squawked about it over and over. If a document is a print document and using CMYK, the gray pallet should be correct and it is not.
 
I made my own default palette using 100% swatches of C M Y K, and 5% increments of black.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but when I export multiple artboards into 1 single pdf file, it includes artboards with no slices.
With the option "Make item visible in export" deactivated, got the same result.
I temporarily deleted the artboards so I could export the ones I wanted.
 

 
The preview thumb doesnt include the excluded pages, but when I click the bottom right export button, all artboards are exported.

 
Am I missing something? Is it a bug?

Updated the brush set to version 2
Changes/improvements as below

1. Removed old versions redundant now..
2. All nozzles are now vector based replacing previous raster versions (as much as possible)
3. Replaced some of the older Base Patterns with some organics (set 04)
4. The old brush set was appearing darker and less intense with 1.7/1.8 update...I have fixed that with this version!
5. Updated the Sample sheets to latest layout (included ref to updated/new patterns).
6. Organised the sets into groups of 30 (Group 01 x4)
7. Added a generic set of brush Nozzles for texture variation (These are repeated across all sets)
8. Included sample sheets of base patterns
9. 19 new base textures

I would love to see you guys having a look at Rhino. This Program has a bunch of awesome features witch would fit in affinity designer just perfectly. 
 
For example there are features witch allow the user to array objects along a curve, in a circle or in a rectangle. 

other handy features are 'connect' witch connects two individual lines by expanding them till they meet up. Fillet, a feature with connects two curves in a circle. 

they also approach moving a object in a different way, by setting a reference point to move from. This allows the user to move a object in one position by referring two a distance on another object. 

I don't say you should copy all of the features. I just think some would be really helpful and definitely worth a look.

For commercial individual use you can install it in two computers.
On a home environment you can install it on up to five computers.

Can we not have comments on this post please just "likes" to show our appreciation and encouragement for the fantastic team who are working on this tremendous product.

OK, we've found the problem - there are some DLLs missing from the Common folder. 
We'll fix this in the next release, but for now you can fix it yourself by copying these files from the application folder to the Common folder
(e.g. from "C:\Program Files\Affinity\Affinity Designer" to "C:\Program Files\Affinity\Common"):
