I would use a tablet and stylus/pen for that kind of drawing, not a mouse. Technically it can probably be done with a mouse, but I would think it's much harder that way.

Just guessing but maybe the OP is asking about the different drawing modes of the Pen Tool. If so, the 4 modes are on the Context Toolbar. If the Context Toolbar is not visible, tick Show Context Toolbar on the View menu.

Mine is much older, probably because I'm running Catalina, but it also is 12KB on disk (11,504 bytes used). Double-clicking on it should open it in ColorSync Utility & the 'desc' tag should show its Localized description strings. It would be interesting to know if it shows anything other than Web Safe Colors for @P.V, & also if ColorSync's Profile First Aid Verify shows any problems with it.
maybe also use the Profiles tab in ColorSync Utility with it set to Group by Location to see what it shows for User profiles & so on.

i don’t think it makes much sense to compare screenshots of an Image in RGB/16 or RGB/32 format with export to jpeg (always RGB/8).
The image rendered in Affinity while the App is open cannot show exactly how the exported image will look for various technical reasons:
color depths can vary, and be smaller in export color gamut can be clipped due to limitations of export file format Zoom level other than 100% leads to perceived sharpness or blurriness  RGB/32 with unbound color values cannot be 1:1 exported to certain file formats (RGB/16 and below) There are additional limitations of Affinity, partially bugs, but this do not play a role in your examples:
Affinity unable to render 16 bit color depth in canvas (but it will correctly export), leading to banding Mipmap rendering will cause severe rendering artifacts for any zoom level except 100% white lines may appear at the edge of documents bitmap exports with size rescaling may look different due to resampling of layers Forced  dithering of gradients at export

And if you have not used them & intend to add more pages & content to your project, you should consider doing that now.

The beta is used to allow for some testing of the bug fix, to ensure that it works properly.
You can install the beta along-side the production version to get the fix immediately.

I don't understand why a bug that is serious for professionals is placed in a beta? Do you think about what you are doing? The apps are completely unusable, with no working color management.
I expect an upgrade right away. Sorry, but that just had to come out.

How 'well' do they play together if for instance you set a dimension to 25.00 or 200.00 mm?

Not on my Mac running Catalina. For me it shows CDT.

If I resize an object by dragging one corner of the bounding box, the opposite corner remains in place. The only time it moves is if I hold Ctrl to Resize About Center.
In this video, the first time is without Ctrl, the second time (where the opposite corner moves) is with Ctrl.

There isn't that I'm aware of.
You could select the original object and check its width and height on the Transform panel and select your 2nd shape and enter the values needed to make it the same size, all without using the bounding box.

Thanks Walt! I have been using V2 since it was released but I never know about the CMD-click feature until you mentioned this.

In any case, to get back to your original question, yes you can do it via the keyboard, but only in V2 as far as I know. There's a 30-day free trial you could use to experiment with this function, which is described in the Help:

You need to right-click on the thumbnail,  not on the layer name/type field.

For quite a few years now, it has been Serif's policy not to publicly comment on their plans so the first indications we get about such things usually is when they are implemented in the betas.

FWIW, for me if using Safari I copy the list from the first post to the clipboard, it works fine if I first select enough cells ... but if say I paste that text into TexEdit & do not make the format Rich Text then it all ends up in the first selected cell.
So if you copy the text from this text list.rtf file, if you then select at least two cells & paste, does it work for you?
