  1. How do you change the colour of an object created by using the Paint Brush Tool in Pixel Persona? I think I am missing something!

    1. I click on the pixel persona option. This makes available the DUAB BlackBox Brush collection in the brush tab.

    2. I choose the Paint Brush Tool, then I select a brush stroke from the Duab BlackBox brush library.

    3. I click and drag and make a brush stroke. This turns into a pixel layer in the layers panel.

    4. I select this new layer and them go to the colour panel, drag the siders (CMYK view) to another setting and nothing happens. The colour stays the same. If I switch back to draw Persona nothing happens either.

Is there a different workflow for changing the colour setting of a brush stroke as opposed to changing the colour of a regular line or text?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. I'd like a small notepad within Photo to write notes on to remind myself of various things when I come back to a project, or for when passing a project on to somebody else.

Logic X has this and its incredibly useful.

(of course there is a work around to write text on a hidden layer)

A great feature to have in designer as well...

  3. Please feel free to do it here in this thread. In localising into German we found a number of things to improve for a second print run, so we are open to anything else we haven't caught, thanks

Awesome! - In my english version on page 57 I noticed that the descriptions for the File Format and the Preset features in the Export Options Panel are back to front.  :)

Also, the page does not seem to be as consistent in its layout as the ones around it. It is like it is missing a bunch of the blue leader lines?.

    Cheers.

  4. I prefer the first set of labels to the second set.

I think it's because of the amount of white space all around the logos/text in the first. The second set looks slightly less appealing to my eyes, due to it looking more cluttered. But then it's going to be hard to get all the information across in such a small label. A tough one.

Either way, great looking and professional. Keep it up!

Thank you George. Yes, it is an interesting challenge to get all of the required information on small surface that is not a flat plane. Trying to keep things both legible and visually consistent in a product range requires quite a bit of planning. These oval shaped tubes are quite small, I should have probably posted a picture showing a better representation of size.

    Thanks for the input. Cheers.

  5. Hi Mediafuel,

Out of interest, which version of Mac OS are you running? When you have the Save window open, what happens if you use select the Mac OS HDD option on the left hand side or the system under Devices and then Mac OS and navigate to the same folder as before that you wish to save the file to.

The reason why is I found this post on the Apple support forums with a similar issue with Safari and seems to be an OS issue.

I am running 10.10.5 Yosemite. Strangely I now cannot recreate the issues anymore...

    Thanks for taking an interest.

    Cheers

  6. Found a pretty good tutorial to create a realistic egg so I thought I'd give it a go. It helped me to understand lighting and shadows a bit more also :)

    Awesome!

Was it a tutorial using AD? If so, is there a link to it?

    Cheers
