I would like to create a silk effect on a background. How should I do that?

[Green alignment line: how can I make it darker]

I am aligning some objects by hand and I orient myself with the green alignment line that appears when objects are aligned. However, it is a bit too light so it is difficult to see it. Is there a way to make it darker or thicker?

Thank you! It is my first time with Affinity so I have to learn it a bit. While I am at this thread: I would like to have a list with bullet points, at the moment I am just using an asterisk but that is totally manual. Do you have something that creates the list automatically (like you would get in iWork or Word when you set the first element and you go to the next line, it creates the second bullet)?

I am using Affinity to create a conference poster. I need to type in a text but sometimes the text frame is too wide. I would like to resize it but keeping the font size so that what is on one line would be on two lines underneath each other. Aat the moment dragging the frames points resizes the text and in case of dragging the  downright point the text size ratio goes all wrong. Any idea how I can achieve keeping the fonts and wrap the text?
