  1. I have using affinity for a few months now. I ensure to calibrate my laptop using Spyder 5 Pro every week. After completion of my workflow and before exporting files to TIFF format, i select sRGB as the ICC profile. But my woes start when i transfer the files to my iphone 5s for uploading to Instagram. I see that the photographs look dull and lack the exposure/ highlights etc i have edited in affinity. Surprisingly, the feed of other people in Instagram when viewed from same phone, looks absolutely normal. I would like to know where am i going wrong? thanks in advance.
  2. Hello James, Thanks for your exhaustive response. Regarding your query on pre-calibrated "sRGB" profile, i had selected this from the drop down list of the "Display" option in my macbook and i had assigned the same during developing images. While exporting to .jpeg, i didnt include the sRBG profile since i read in some articles to undo the option during export. After trying out numerous option, i finally bought Spyder5 Pro calibrator and the output have changed drastically. However I have one query. Shall i assign the calibrated profile during developing of images in Affinity?? or shall i use the generic sRGB profile? Thanks in advance.
  3. Hello Leigh !! Thanks for reading the post !! I am afraid to say that the images look dull and bleak on iphone.
  4. Hello, I am new to affinity photo. I am shooting in sRGB all the time. After export of RAW files to JEPG format, i have observed that the color profiles looks drastically different in my macbook, iphone and ipad. I am mostly doing web publishing. I am using the pre-calibrated "sRGB" color profile for macbook and I am importing the same profile in "Develop" module and during "export" of the images. Most of the time i transmit these JPG to my iphone for uploading in flickr or instagram. It is at this instant , i find that the colors look dull and i need to edit them again using the above two platform's option. It would be very nice if someone can guide me out of this puzzle !
  5. Hello James, Yea you are right. The color rendition is different as well as the contrast. I am shooting in sRGB.
  6. Hi, I have exported the Raw files to JPEG format and uploaded in the above two websites.
  7. Hello, I have observed that the files uploaded in Flickr & facebook looks completely different from the one exported after post processing in affinity. May I know the reason for such variance and the way to minimize the same ? I am a serious hobbyist and is putting a dent on my followings and future goals. Regards Mayukh
