  1. Hi, I have a question about the layer order when I try to apply the master page to every single page in the doc.

let's say that I want to put a stamp or watermark on every page which all cover by full-size image.

And when I apply the master page, the stamp always put into the bottom of every single page.

is there a way to put it on top?  easily? not to have me to change the layer order every single page?

  2. Hi lenuis,

I believe this is by design. I assume you have the 'Selection without background' option checked?

Although you do have the object selected, it needs to be on the canvas to be visible in the export because a standard document is clipped. Even if you turn off 'Clip to Canvas' it still doesn't work as it is for display purposes.

If you do the same on an Artboard, the export will be fine because they are not clipped. I hope this makes sense?

i use the export persona to export the  different layer, some of it outside the canvas.and yeah i turn off 'clip to canvas' ....

thank you for make sense, but i still hope it can export the image outside the canvas which i select. :)

  3. Hi Lenius,

Could you let me know how you are exporting it? I've just given this a quick test and it exported the slice for me.

    Thanks

my file is about 30 MB  ,and its editable.

first  i set the export file format to pdf and the parameter as default .

second i create slice.then i export the selected slice .

  4. DPI means nothing. It is the pixel dimension divided by desired print resolution that equals the effective PPI.

So say one wants an image to print at 300 dpi and occupy a 4" space, the inverse of the above is multiply 300 x 4" and therefore one needs an image of 1200 pixels wide to achieve an effective resolution of 300 dpi.

The DPI field is only an information field (i.e., it means nothing as regards quality) that can aid an application for opening/placing it initially. But all that matters is pixel dimensions and the above math.

so, if i want large image, i can only set the size?
