  1. If it is LZW it is OK, the one I have used the most anyway. However it should be stated somewhere so users immediately see it while exporting.... Even cameras have got the possibility "compressed/uncompressed/lossless compression" - even thet would be enough Serif ;)

    AP Win - Open recent...

Actually no :( The thing is whether I do open mostly .afphoto files or I want to have only .afphoto files to quickly open. Reason? I do open tiff and jpeg files a lot too, but I do not want to open them again, however I am returning to my work - .afphoto files - often. Therefore when I just open 10 tiffs once all the .afphoto files disappear :( However I do not care about those tiffs anymore, I want to return to my working .afphoto files ;) However, thanks for contribution, Alfred. Jindra

    AP Win - Open recent...

Seems you do not like this idea :D Help me someone, I do really think that in "Open recent..." should be only .afphoto files, because others like TIFFs, JPEGs are opened just once ;) Thanks for support  Jindra
  4. Hi, happened to me more times - Re-draw error, but now: - opened existing .afphoto file - Levels adjustments - at first it did not work - now after a while of some clicking it works....... This re-draw error (refresh) seems to be quite common..... please check it overally ;) Do you have some internal/development F5 "Refresh" combination, please? Would be useful as sometimes the trick with zoom out-in does not work  Thanks for solving Jindra

AP Win Bug - Re-Draw error

Hi, would like to, but 1.5GB file is above my uploading possibilities :D At least with the speeds we have here ;) The problem is that I cannot even reproduce it to send you some screenshots.... Next time I make them right when it happens ;) Thanks Jindra
  6. I would like to have the "Solid color adjustment layer".... the Pixel layer does not cover the feature as well as this layer would - eg. in Groups of adjustment layers, I have problem with adding a pixel layer. Also it is faster to work with it..... or did I just miss it somewhere? Thanks Jindra
  7. Thank you, guys. To verysame: Yeah, that one seems to be working so far, I will test it also with Grouping and I see it very usable ;) To Aammppaa: Lens Filter layer works a little bit in a different manner, I have tried that one before.... , but thanks for your contribution :) To Serif: I think we can close this one ;) Jindra
  8. Encountered the same problems, but sure they are fixed and in testing by now ;) Thanks too
  9. Hi, no press on you ;) Hope you enjoyed vacation you deserved for the AP Win success B) Great job guys. Just please could you tell us when to expect 1.5.2 AP for Win? Will it also include improved Macro functions? Thanks for information  Jindra
  10. Didn't I miss something? No Win AP 1.5.2 announcement yet?

AP Win - Bug - Mask to Below

:D OK, thanks ;) Would not figure it out.... then, yes, just change of the name/label would be enought :D

AP Win - Bug - Mask to Below

Yes, shojtsy, I surely vote for that one. As I have wrote in comment #10 it is up to Serif whether they implement this feature.... If you guys (to: Serif) want it in "New features" discussion I will move it there :D Thanks

AP Win - Bug - Mask to Below

Hi, OK, thanks for reporting the THIRD bug towards development team and thanks for that hint to temporarily overcome it (easier then rolling mouse over the whole image) ;) Ad "Mask to Below": As off I used the advice from Shojtsy, I do use Rasterize Mask followed by moving the mask to the layer I do need it to.... However I still do not get the point of the feature "Mask to Below". Might be just my fault, but I have thought it should work in different way.... Also on right-mouse-click I would expect "Apply mask" function, which would crop the layer to save memory (destructive step, but might be useful).... however this belongs more to "Feature requests" discussion more.... Thanks

To illustrate the "THIRD BUG" I have inserted an attachment..... In yellow are my post-notes ;)

AP Win - Bug - Mask to Below

Thanks shojtsy, that one works at least for my purpose I do need it :) At first I have solved it by letting the layer to be (Pixel) layer and setting it to "Lighter color", which worked for blacks and whites, but not for gradient (shadows) :D While working with your advice I came to another 2 bugs ! :D So towards Serif now: SECOND BUG: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX DELETE - I found this one to be just my mistake....... THIRD BUG: when I do Ctrl + Z on the step "Rasterize to Mask" there is no picture at the screen and you have to move mouse over the picture to get the picture visible square by square to become visible again :D Whauuuuuuuuu WHAT A BUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remove it please ASAP as this is really a silly bug  However guys, still you did a good job, I do understand there has to be o lot of work behind it ;) Thanks Jindra

AP Win - Bug - Mask to Below

OK, shojtsy, good idea, thus it lead us deeper into the problem..... Eventhough it works so that the existence of pixel leaves the "unmasked" parts - which is actually vice versa of what I whould expect, but still it does at least something :D Second thing is you can not Invert it as it only inverts colors not pixels to transparency of course..... Third it is still labeled "(Pixel)" instead of "(Mask)"..... However the most important of all is that you usually do masks out of pictures/layers that are black, white and gradient and the result sould be transparent part, thus exactly opposite to what it is doing  Please for other comments (if someone encounteres such problem) Thanks

AP Win - Bug - Mask to Below

Hi, yes, sure. Attachments included.... ;) Jindra
  18. OK, thanks for information. I'll wait for the final version :) Not in such a hurry.... I was hoping and looking for those Macros improvements, but OK
  19. Feels to me like the Photo 1.5.2 for Win is also on its way :) Mac version already announced, one of my bug tickets being [fixed], others closed after some discussion :D Just hope we can be looking forward to see some great Macro features  Thanks B)
  20. Hi, I have encountered an overlapping problem with Patch tool selection. When I am selecting with that tool and I do come over the already selected area crossing it twice it does deselect that area - quite strange feature :( It does it surprisingly also in ADD mode.... Thanks Jindra

AP Win - Bug - Patch Tool Selection

Thank you for your replies. If Chris_K thinks it is OK, then I do believe you. For me it is a strange feature, however it is not a scenario I would come across often ;) It is more like I was "nervous" and I was oscillating nervously about the place. While doing that I have found out that some spaces are not being added eventhough inside the area..... (no matter New or Add mode) that is more the case, not a usual scenario. If you have found it is not a bug, then OK ;) I will keep doing patching properly - not nervously - and maybe one day I'll find that the feature is useful maybe even for me ;) Jindra

AP Win - Bug - Adjustments

Thank you for caring. However do not worry about me, I know how to add an adjustments layer by other ways :) The reason why I have reported this as a bug is that this cases reacts differently when you do click eg. Curves followed by adding another AL type eg. HSL and when you follow it by clicking on the same AL type (in this case Curves). This is quite misleading. It should act the same way in all cases or at least act so that the user does not loose the information/settings ;) But do whatever you want...... I can live with that............

AP Win - Bug - Adjustments

Thanks Dieter for further investigation. Yes the "Ctrl + M" works fine. Even pressing this one while on the existing Curves Adjustments Layer (AL) it creates a completely new Curve AL above the active layer. Clicking on anything else then Curves (eg. HSL, Levels) makes also a new layer above..... However only this case: being on active Curves AL and clicking again Curves in the Adjustments tab does not add a new Curves AL but only Resets the current active layer with all its customizations - actually technically I do think it just overwrites the already existing active layer with a new one :(
