[Publisher Crashes when opening file]

I have the same issue into publisher! My file crashes when I open the file, closing the program!

Both publisher file and assets are into a local onedrive folder synced with the cloud!

Sometimes using a long time my wacom intuos with latest drive, I lost the action of select tool, I need to roll to select objects again, but I cannot scale they anymore! Then I close and open the file again to select work again! Workaround is using mouse only!

Hi,

I use a Onedrive folder to backup my files. I work into documents on Publisher inside this folder and ondrive syncs it into cloud. For a first time I have the thumbnail of file into windows explorer, but work and do some syncs after, I lost the thumbnails replaced by the Affinity Publisher icon. So, this happens with all Affinity family.

Hi all!

Using the latest update of Publisher, I see a increase performance into both files that I´m using here, including the file sended!

Some of lags now is into a complex document with lots of images! I suggest a view mode with low resolution like InDesign to work with complex documents!

I have turn Off justification too! Doesn´t solve for me!

So, make a long book will be impossible to work! Try to edit a long long linked text from several pages and edit it!

Or, my system have some hardware not compatible with Affinity!

[Crash while change column size of tables]

Hi,

I have several crashes when try to change column sizes of tables.

Attached is a file that can be used to reproduce the crash. Sometimes no crashes occur, but when you try to change several times, the crash occur.

The crash happens when I change the size of column using the mouse into division of columns at header of editing table (black selected header into attached image)

Turn off spellcheking, change graphics settings in preferences, change language to none, turn off display helpers doesn´t change anything!

I have change my settings and reset Publisher. It´s lag yet!

Turn off spellcheking and settings language to none, not solve too!

So, I see my task manager. When I editing a text frame I see a very high increase CPU usage while writing! Something around 30%-40% of increase. I Don´t Know if this value is normal.

But, maybe I need to upgrade my video card!!!

Hi, I Attached a file with a long text frame along several pages. Try to edit the text write something, you see a lag and poor performance while editing.
I have a system with 8GB ram HyperX, Radeon R7 360, SSD latest windows 10.

I have some issues with performance on text editing on larger documents with photos and a long text.

Plus, I see some problems with wacom tablet using two monitors, the wacom pen lost the drag action. Then I need to restart Publisher to solve! So, I´m using the mouse only!

I see into Affinity Publisher settings for devices and constraints panel. Have Affinity Publisher target for digital publishing? I like to see features like inDesign to publish for mobile! I have a lot of projects that needs to be published for desktop, table and smartphones (like inDesign does)! No, pure HTML and WORDPRESS is not acceptable!

I like to create a little magazine, some few pages. But, we don't haver Affinity Publisher yet! So, can I use Affinity Designer from now? Can I import then from Designer into Publisher when arrived?

[Crash using Onedrive and Batch Process]

Affinity Photo crash after starting a batch job process with a lot of affinity photo files converting to a raster format. All files are inside a Onedrive folder and the conversion is set to same folder. Maybe the onedrive sync causes the crash. When I use another folder outside onedrive, it works ok.

I see some freezes when I open more than 15 files at same time on Designer especially when I open PSD files. Not monster big PSD files (around 2mb each).

 

But, I can´t reproduce the freeze step by step because its happens sometimes.

Hi,

I have reported some issues with Wacom some versions ago.

Maybe is a Wacom problem with Windows 10, because others programs have some issues too.

 

My wacom behavior is:

Whe Windows INK turned on, I have the pressure in pen.

 

But I lost the right click on canvas. See the circle into page!

 

Now, When I turned off, I lost the pressure in pen.

 

But the right click menu works now.

 

I believe that occur only with certain wacom models.

I konw that others tablets models works! Maybe only my model causes this issue! My driver is the latest too, like yours. I don´t know!
