  1. Is it possible to send multiple photos from the capture one interface to Affinity photo for panorama or HDR instead of selecting them by browsing folders within Affinity? If you select multiple photos now and edit with affinity, they open as 4 separate documents, but I don't see that you can then start a panorama with them.
  2. I thought that might be the case. So I'm guessing I can create a layer above and draw over the top? (I'm not at home to try it) Its mostly straight lines so I really just need to drag nodes and connect the dots.
  3. I've never used designer or illustrator but I would like to learn. Affinity photo has been great and easy to progress through so I'm hoping designer may be as well. I thought about contracting it out, but I may need to do more as this project moves along. My wife is opening a store and her brother hand drew a logo and we would like to create a digital copy of it. I'm imagining importing it into designer and tracing over the top to make clean lines so I can have a high resolution image of it. Before I buy, is there a tutorial, or maybe a set of tutorials I could watch so I can see how feasible this may be before I buy?
  4. I'll lose access to Lightroom feature when I update to sierra so I decided to start using the free version of Capture 1. It said it's for Sony owners but I didn't have to provide any proof of my Sony camera. I'm enjoying it so far. It's actually a lot faster as well
  5. Thank you so much billtils! Honestly I'm not sure why, but now it works perfectly and now I want to figure out how to get it back to doing what had happened before. The only thing I changed was to press command+s instead of file, then save, which would always bring up a save as box. This time when I pressed command+s it gave me the option of save flattened or save as and I chose save flattened and when I opened C1 it was sitting right there with all the changes. Again, thanks for taking the time to create that to make sure there were no variables I was missing!
  6. Billtils, I've been doing that exactly but when it go to "file save", it acts more as a "save as". I just use the default and save it, but it never changes the photo.

  8. Ok this is what I'm doing, but its not changing in C1. I choose save and nothing happens on the C1 side. Its still the original photo
  9. Exactly right. I'm using it as a cataloging tool. I import to C1 from SD, do minor editing, and then take it to affinity for more substantial edits using the edit with option like you said. I want to then save it and have it go back to C1. In lightroom my workflow was import images -> minor edits -> make virtual copy -> edit in affinity -> save photo. The virtual copy I made in lightroom would then be updated with the changes made in Affinity.
  10. I can't seem to get AP to play well with capture one when I'm saving my file. Using Lightroom, after saving it would show up in the lightroom catalog with the AP edits. Saving back to Capture One has proven to be a little out of my league I guess. Does anyone have a good workflow for this?
  11. I'm sorry to go off topic, but are you able to use the photoshop plugin of NeatImage in Affinity photo?
  12. You are the man. Great voice for tutorials, btw. Its like getting lessons from Bullet Tooth Tony from Snatch.
  13. This is how I have Affinity set up as an external editor, but when I click save, the copy it made in lightroom (5.5) doesn't reflect the changes that I made in Affinity. What am I missing?
