We have 2 cases of startup: load the app via icon on desktop or main menu load the app with selected file(s) In first case we don't need fonts immediately. Can you load fonts in background after show the app? This will save, on my PC as example, 4 seconds! thank you.

P.S. but, as I said, XnView and Photoshop CS2 has no problems with this "broken" color profile. (for case, if it can help to improve compatibility with old color profiles) -

Possible problem in ICC Profile of my monitor (SyncMaster 2343BW): Samsung - Natural Color Pro 1.0 ICM (attached) I changed it to "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" in system Color Management dialog - now no problem with colors. P.S. problem was even if just create new document. SM2343BW.zip -

Tested again. PC1 with Nvidia - ok PC2 with Intel - ok PC3 with ATI - problem. (HD 6450, Radeon 16.2.1) same with 1.5.0.7 attach saved as .afdesign result of import. and jpeg-screenshot for case, if .afdesign does not show the problem. opened_lang_select_default_icc_profile.afdesign opened_lang_select_with_icc_profile.afdesign

Very strange... At home I have not any problems with these files (Nvidia). On my second work was (Ati). Both with Windows 10. I'll retest it tomorrow and Saturday and will add more details/screenshots. -
My pdf files Designer open with broken ICC. It trying to use correct (sRGB) profile, but in result I have wrong colors - too yellow. You can compare result in Photoshop / XnView. Samples attached to the post. lang_select_default_icc_profile.psd lang_select_with_icc_profile.psd
