  1. (On Windows Beta) When I look very good, I can hardly see a light green bar when exporting. Can this bar made more green? Or just the normal blue used in the UI?
  2. Can an quality check be added? So if you choose to export with a specified DPI and size, that you can get a list with warning if: Your images are big enough Text is inside margins And so on... I think this is not possible right now?
  3. If this isn't possible, could this be added? If I crop an image, the borders will not snap to the original image. (I don't like whitespace around an image)
  4. Thanks!! This is what I was looking for! I had tried to lock the children separately. Strange enough locking the children does something else than lock children...
  5. (On Windows Beta) Hi, Is it possible to scale a curve without the containing image? For example: I've a rectangle with an image as sub-layer. So I use the rectangle as cropping. (Because I needed to rotate the image). If I scale the rectangle, the image is scaled with it. Is there a way to prevent this (like cropping does)? Thanks, Andreas Furster
  6. Thanks for all clarification! After playing a bit with them I see more differences. You can give colors to your layers in the layer panel. See the attachment.
  7. I also think it would be great if you click an element which is inside a group, the group will expand and the layers panel will navigate to that layer.
  8. Hi Chris, Thanks for your reply! :) With another file (or after I reopened AD) the problem was resolved! I understand the problem with the arrow keys. I used to work in Gimp where you have to click (focus) anywhere in the document (or the space around it) to move the object. Or when you click in the layers panel you can choose or expand layers. I've a file with a lot of nested groups, so it would just be a lot faster if I can use arrow keys.
  9. Export to PDF for example has far more export options, like: - Overprinting black - Text as curves - Down-sampling
  10. Hello, I'm a little confused about using the scroll wheel in the layers panel. It seems that you are only able to scroll if you follow this steps: First there must be no scrollbar Than you have to expand a group so there will be a scrollbar Than you can scroll Is this something that will be fixed? It will be awesome if you can use the arrow keys to go up and down, and expand layers.
  11. I've multiple layers and groups in my project and one thing occurs to me. Some of my elements (things in the tree) are groups and some are layers even if they have children. When I add layers inside another layer, doesn't this make the layer a group? What is the difference? Why can't I ungroup layergroups? How can I even create empty groups? Why can't i give a group a color? I can for example put an text element inside an image. Why is this possible?
  12. Thanks for the replies everybody! That's what I did. I imported a PDF file with text. All the text was placed in a Artistic text object. So I had to copy, paste and the biggest one; re-position all the lines of text. I hoped there was a better solution... I think the crucial difference is that with Artistic Text the text is bound to the edges. This maybe seems a small difference, but if you play with it you'll understand... Although I think it could just be an option.
  13. Is it possible to convert Artistic text to Frame text? I've a lot of Artistic text in a file, but I want to use them as Frame Texts. How to do this??
  14. Hello All, I'm new to Affinity. Using the beta for Windows. I've already some feedback. I've seen the features request forum, but is there something like UserVoice? This way the team could see which features are the most important for users, without spamming topics with +1's. Affinity looks really good, nice work! Regards, Andreas F
