Will there be an option to bring all the images you'll be using in a publication to Assets, as one can do in PagePlus?  That features saves a lot of time as one can just drag the image  to the page. In PP  you could just go to the folder and bring all the images into it. Thank you.

Congrats, Affinity team. The issue with objects freezing up after the program (it worked fine in v. 183) was open for awhile got completely fixed in beta 184663. Thank you.

sdrum got a reaction from debraspicher in A "biggie": better sensitivity in Affinity Photo
First, I must commend Affinity team for the great software they have produced. I have all of them and buy most of the relevant additions for Affinity. They have filled a great vacuum in the market of digital art software.
I lived in Japan some years ago and at the time I was introduced to Illuststudio (now Clip Studio Paint) as well as other popular art programs in the country. One thing I noticed is that they had (and still do) fantastic pressure sensitivity in their software compared to most. Over the years I have bought many art programs and have yet to experience a better brush engine, as far as pressure sensitivity goes. Even some new programs that have been awarded as great emulators of traditional art don't compare in sensitivity.  I have both Wacom and ULogic tablets that work great with Affinity Designer in vector mode, but when switching to pixel in AD or in APhoto they require a lot more pressure on the screen. I know there are other art software with very good pressure sensitivity in the market but the nice thing about APhoto for example, is that it has filters and other adjustments that some art software lack.
I know this is a "biggie" but is there a way to get more pressure sensitivity in Affinity pixel mode?

sdrum got a reaction from Zekez in Convert palette to spot colors
In Illustrator I can convert a whole palette to Pantone/spot color. Is there a way to do the same in Affinity Designer? The only option I have found to convert the whole image palette to spot color is to convert each color separately, which is very time consuming.
    Thank you.

sdrum got a reaction from Patrick Connor in Affinity Publisher Public Beta - 1.7.0.305
So all the betas I have worked with, from the very beginning, never caused any major issues. This latest version (170.305) is the first one that freezed so much I had to go back to 170.293. This shows that sometimes a newer version is not "beta" than the previous ones.

Just installed it today and tried a few features that I am use to having in PPX9, which I find intuitive but are missing in AP.

Another feature that would nice to have, as in PPX, is a right click to replace a picture that has been updated. I know that links are updated automatically but such feature would enable one to do it w/o having to re-open the document.
