  1. Yep, I have set Snapping Manger to 'Force pixel alignment' and 'Move by whole pixel' and exported gif in its default preset, it came out looking clear!
  2. Well, I have just found a solution, by selecting 'Nearest neighbour' when exporting. This is what it should look like this: I don't know why it isn't 'default' preset for exporting GIF and PNG? I think it has to do with image size being in decimal points - e.g. in program, the size is actually 468.7 x 378.8, which I believe, can cause 'blurred' export? Is there a way to stop program using decimal points in pixel size?
  3. I have only just noticed this when I was exporting .gif AND .png! See the attached files: PNG GIF These were exported via default settings. I have tried various settings but still the same. In Affinity Design, it is clear and crispy but when exported, it's a bit blurrey?
  4. White Balance picker issue I have just downloaded Affinity Photo beta today and played with it. I see there was an issue with White Balance picker being not saved to layer. But if I use slider manually, it is saved. But if I choose white balance picker, the photo showed change but as soon as I leave this tool or click elsewhere, it just resetted itself.
  5. Sorry guys but I do not see what's the fuss of putting AD on the Windows Store, when you could get it directly from Serif? I have Windows 10 but I rarely use Windows Store as I have found the apps are intended for use with portable devices with limited control and settings, it isn't the same thing as full desktop apps. Only thing I find it useful is gaming.
  6. That was a good find. After reading your post, I decided to take a look at the Colour Management via Advanced Display Settings on Windows 10 and under Devices tab, I ticked 'Use my settings for this device' box and afterward, Affinity started in just 10 seconds.
  7. For me, it takes around 25 seconds (cold-start) on i5-6500 system with 16 GB RAM & 500 GB HDD, Windows 10 Pro. Could it have to do with using a different or older version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable?
  8. Hi, I have been using outer -shadow on text...the shadow effect using colours including black are fine but when I selected white, it doesn't work, it just doesn't show up unless I select any other colour other than white.
