If the feature depends on what are called chaining context lookups, that may be why there is a failure to work. Without a font to look at, I wouldn't know for certain.
I believe Serif knows this is broken. Maybe @Dave Harris can confirm?

Ah, right. Sorry about that. I'm experiencing this with Montreux Grotesk from ROHH.
