I am new to all this so please don't blame me if this is a stupid question.
I just started working with Affinity Photo in order to got a printable document consisting of several fotos. Therefore I created a new file (File → New) to set the print size and resolution right and added a foto via Drag&Drop.
When I now try to alter the foto(s) with those nice Brush Tools it does not work. I am quite sure that I chose the correct layer. Even in "History" it appears that I did something. However there is no difference.
I tried to fix the same foto by just open it in Affinity Photo with the "Open" function. Doing so, everything works quite well. However, I want to edit different fotos in the same file.
What aspect didn't I consider?
