You can assign some shortcut to "convert to curves" - I use ctrl+enter . It is easy and fast way to convert any stroke to closed path. In next step just select option "insert inside selection", and then you are able to paint inside another shape. affinity-paint-inside.mp4

I did ask about desktop version. But probably there is no similar functionality on desktop (win) version

Where can I find this little page navigator? I don't see neither page navigator nor Document menu on the top And I am a little bit confused because now the only way to open multi page document in AD is to place document. Then I see page navigator so I can double click on placed document to edit its content.

It probably depends on specific company. Even if some of them uses Affiinity they may not have it on requirements. Mainly because it is easier to find someone familiar with adobe products. But recently a lot of people uses wider range of apps and software packages. For an example I'm responsible for user interface in in popular free 2 play game. And I have switched to AD from Illustrator right after Affinity Designer has been released. And when we were looking for a new UI designer we have'nt wrote about AD in our requirements. But I did ask about it during one on one conversation. After recruitment process I did show to my new team mate how Affinity Designer works and he immediately loved it. So now we both use Affinity Designer in our daily routine instead of Adoby products. It does'nt mean that I fully dropped Adobe products but I use different tools depends on my needs.

In latest beta version I can't export properly artboards with embedded affinity documents. When I'm trying to export my artboard i get only empty (white) *.jpg or *.png file.

Export to *.png with transparent background does not work And yes I do have " transprent backround" turned on in document settings .

You have to change artboards order from layers panel instead of moving your artboards on canvas. I hope bleed view is going to be soon but for now you can put rectangle with your artboard size + bleed, than you can give him stroke 1px but without fill (I prefer magenta color for better visibility). Then put your "custom" bleed guide over your artboard. It's gonna be exported to pdf if you leave it in artboard so move it above artboard in layers panel.

I had the same problem. But i fixed it when I've changed my second monitor to "main screen" in windows screen settings. Now I can use AFDesigner on both screens.
