  1. Thanks for the tip! This warp tool helps already a lot because in my case the mapping doesn't need to be perfect. When checking this issue more I found that the image above was actually from some Photoshop Plugin example: http://richardrosenman.com/shop/spherical-mapping-corrector/
  2. Is the any filter or easy way in Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo to distort the image to be properly wrapped around a sphere? In Affinity Photo there is Rectangular to Polar Distort Filter but it it seems that it distorts the image from top. I am looking something similar than in the image/texture with bricks below. I would like to create an Image with stars for a 3D print lithophane. The lithophane is a Christmas ball and there is a tool (https://lithophanemaker.com/Lithophane Sphere.html) to wrap the image around the ball but I would like to improve the mapping of the image.
  3. One additional question about applying the earlier mentioned effects. Is it possible to save the effect settings to a file and apply them to another image? I would need to set the same effects to 36 similar images, which is the reason why I ask.
  4. First, sorry for such a newbie question! I would like to create this kind of 3d/shading effect to my rendered 2d image, see below. What is this kind of effect called and is this possible with Affinity Photo? I have been trying to find some tutorials (Affinity, Gimp, pain.net, etc.) but I am not sure what this is actualy called. My current render: img host This is what I would like to achieve: img host
  5. I have been experimenting Windows version of Affinity Designer and I love it. Finally there is affordable software and I can forget Paint.net. I would like to ask one really beginner question, which is maybe not that much about the software but about image editing in general. What would be the tools needed to make the below kind of 3D effect into the pictures? Or is this actually something that should be done in Affinity Photp?
