[Hardware Accelerator tick box.]

Hi, I'm running the latest version of Affinity Photo 1.10.4.1198 on my Windows 11 PC with 16 Gb RAM.

I am trying to untick the Hardware Accelerator box in the Preference/Performance tab. After unticking the box it says 'needs a restart', but after a restart the box is again ticked. I've tried Reset User Defaults but this does not help.

I think this must be causing AP to keep crashing because I have the latest beta version with the box unticked and it runs a dream.

[Saving Preferences in Affinity Photo]

I am running the latest update of Affinity Photo on my Windows 10 PC. When I access Preferences and set the RAM usage higher there is no way of saving the settings. Likewise when I disable Hardware Accelorator it says it needs a restart but when I do the Hardware Accelerator box is again ticked.

Is thre a way to save these settings.

I also have the latest Beta copy and that works prefectly. Does anyone thing a re-install of the program will sort the problem?

Hi, just a quick question. When a new version of the Affinity Beta program comes out do you have to uninstall the old version first or can you install the new version over the old one?
