Hi Henne,
 
At the moment, a brush has a head, body and tail - and on a closed curve you are seeing all these components so you're spotting the gap between the head and tail. I will change this in the future so that a brush can simply be a body section so it joins properly at the start/end.
 
So at the moment you can't achieve the effect you want, but I'll sort this out.
