Hallo, very interesting discussion ;) . Let me come back to the original problem. I already know why my computer everything was so slow. I looked up into processes. I see the process svchost takes 50% CPU performance!!! On the computer was not running any program at the time. Under process svchost is running Windows Update service and that was the problem. After turning off the service is processor performance (at standstill) to approximately 5%. Affinity is after this operation very fast.

Hallo, I observe in a few last versions that Affinity is working very slowly. This can be seen even by simple shapes, by basic action (for example by selecting and deselecting of any shape). Timeout can be more than 2-3 second. Upstairs in the window bar often appears that the program is not responding. Previously, the program operated on the same computer quickly (using OS Windows 7, 64 bit).

Hallo, I test intensively Affinity Designer for Windows, and I found some unwanted events: 1. The object often moves slightly by mouse click selecting with Move tool. 2. A copy of the object can be created using CTRL + drag. But the hotkey CTRL is also used to select an object from the group. A small movement the mouse often creates unwanted duplicate object.

Hallo, I created in Affinity beta for Windows a simple shape (see attached file) and then exported it in SVG. Opened in AI CS4 looks this file different. Opened in CDR X7 looks this file different too. See attached jpg screenshots. What is wrong? file.afdesign

Oh, how easy! In Corel Draw I must first split the text to individual characters, than I can also convert the letter into curves. If I make not the splitting and convert the text to curves, it is all only one object.

You're welcome. Hopefully programmers devise a similar feature for Affinity. Affinity is more userfriendly than Inkscape.

For program Inkscape is a good solution for export eps . Please refer to http://primandras.hu/inkscape-ai-compatible-eps-exporter/. I tried this script and gradients are OK in AI - bitmaps are not created. Shutterstock and another microstock portals accept these EPS. Maybe it inspires clever programmers and invents something similar for Affinity.

Excuse me, I do not know exactly what you mean. Save As dialog box does not support other file formats than native afdesign. If it helps, I can also send files generated by Windows after a program crash.
