Thanks, but the only issues addressed in 2.1.0.1706 are already listed in the post pinned at the top of the forum. There is no need to tell us if something that is not listed is still not fixed. This forum is for reporting bugs that affect the beta but not the release build or to tell us the things we have listed as fixed aren't fixed after all, as your problem is also true of the release build I would politely ask that we keep this forum for new beta specific bugs only.

Unfortunately it doesn't work via keyboard shortcut (as @Frozen Death Knight had already mentioned). But Ctrl+Alt+L is the way I do it most of the time.

On Windows the connection to the brushes on the list still breaks. The new feature works when using the keyboard keys to resize your brush, but when using ctrl+alt+L click drag to change your brushes it no longer works.

Ohhh. So place the whole FILE, not just the object. That makes sense. Thank you! Off to lose another day in the photo manipulation rabbit hole.

Therefore, rasterise beforehand!

You can rasterise a copy of the vector object. This way the vector object is preserved.

Uncheck the box Fill Knocks out Shadow, along with dropping the Fill Opacity to 0.

That checkbox for my version is marked "Matte" which I was unfamiliar with.

@thomaso: It's like Windows and probably intentional. I understood the OP to say that the icon in V2 is generally no longer coloured.

You have three options:
You can wait for Serif to provide the MSI. It won't be long now. You can wait until Lazy Nezumi can handle sandboxes. This can take a long time. There are several threads in the forum where you can find solutions to the problem. Search the forum (Keyword: e.g. App Execution Alias). I don't have a link ready at the moment.

You can do it with gradient masks. But the quickest way to do it is with the depth of field filter.
The filter can be found in the menu Filter > Blur > Depth of Field, or in the Live Filters:

A small misunderstanding here. I like inherent masks for adjustment and filter layers as well, only in the specific case of fill layers it gets too complex distinguishing between setting fill color and brush color - which is probably the reason why you started this thread?

You are right! I have assigned autokey macros to replace "ää" with "ä" and so on. The macros start with backspace ...  I have long forgotten about these macros in times of unicode. Sorry for the confusion 😳

That is not quite right. An image is opened as it is. If it does not contain a pixel layer, it will not have one after opening. The command "Open" does not create a layer either. It simply opens the picture. And if the image has 100 layers, then it has 100 layers.

They can't if their C drive is too small, as they have said it is, to do the initial installation. Also, some Windows users have reported that for them, trying to Move after the installation fails.
There is also an option in Windows to specify that the install should happen initiallly on a different drive. Again, though, that seems to work for some users but fail for others.
Serif have not said anything about having an MSI installer yet. They are working on one, and plan to have it available during the current customer beta cycle (2.0.3 on Windows), but have not said precisely when it will be available.
