PagePlus was the desktop publishing app created by Serif and is the predecessor of Publisher. A lot of people looked down on it as being amateurish, but I managed to produce some very nice publications with it. I've attached a file with 4 boxes using the for different dual line stroke options, while you can only alter the total point size for the dual lines, you can't edit each line individual it was just a quick and easy way of producing a dual line.

The shortcut Ctrl+Alt+LMK to change the brush size no longer works in 2.1.0.1736. Changing the hardness works as usual.

It is a good decision because creating standard masks is more efficient that way. I also think that many users were rather confused by the drop-down list.
As a compromise, could one perhaps additionally integrate the special masks into the context menu of the layers?

I have my doubts about that, but you can try.
Have you tried opening the file again in V1 and saving it (under a different name)?
If there are not too many pages, you could also delete individual pages one after the other (copy!!) and save again. This way you will find out if objects on a certain page are the cause of the problem.

Why?

The issue "Copying non-destructive RAW layer and pasting into a separate document renders the RAW layer invisible in the original RAW file " (REF: AFP-5970 ) has been fixed by the developers in internal build 2.1.0.1713
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.

Yep, I do need to get around to updating. 

For professional use of Affinity Photo 2, you should have hardware that optimally supports hardware acceleration. This means that you should have a GPU with OpenCL technology that communicates directly with the graphics hardware of your system. Also, I would not use less than 8 GB of RAM - rather more.
You can also use Affinity Photo 2's built-in benchmark function to numerically compare the performance of your CPU and GPU. This can help you find the best hardware for your needs.

I can confirm I've been able to replicate this issue here and I've logged this with our development team to be resolved.

I have also experienced that tables of contents lose their formatting after updating.
However, the new formatting is not the default formatting, but something different each time. I suspect it is formatting that I last used when working in the document.
I have found the following workaround for me:
Before I update the table of contents, I deselect everything and reset to the default values . Only then do I update the table of contents. However, I can't imagine that this is the way it's supposed to be.
Nevertheless, strange things happen all the time. For example, the fill characters between the entry and the page number disappear when I update. Only when I click on the corresponding text style do they reappear.
Or entries before the table of contents are integrated into the table of contents, although the corresponding option is not active.
So at the moment this is still a rather shaky affair.

That doesn't sound logical to me:
1. Copying a complete layer is not a pixel operation in my opinion.
2. It works with placed images, although they are not rasterised either.
I think I now know what the reason is. The effect apparently only occurs when RAW images are referenced during development.
For me, the question now is whether this is what the developers intended.

You can right-click on the image link and select "Open with".
If you need the drag-and-drop functionality, you should install the exe programme files of the apps - instead of the MSIX files.
