    This is not comfortable. Mac users can use still two mouse buttons. And the Windows users can press just the right mouse button. Where is the problem? Then the Windows users would have to call the context menu with two mouse buttons too.

    Did I hear that correctly? ALT + right mouse button changes the size of the diameter of the tool (Just like in Photoshop)? This does not work for me.

    Hello! There are problems with the pen: (1) When you create the second node, there is a significant delay when you drag the handles (see attached video). When you create the next node, there are no more delays. (2) After you press the ALT key (for change of direction), the cursor is an arrow. I can not continue to work.     For information only: I have installed AFDesigner now also on a fresh, new Windows 10. There, the program starts slowly too. And it is true that the version 1.5.0.8 starts more slowly than previous versions. But the old versions started slowly too.

    Thank you for your reply! (1) I have installed 380 fonts. But that doesn't bother the other programs. Maybe too much MAC program code is located in your Windows program code yet. Is that possible? (2) I have 4 assets and no symbols, styles and so on. Is there a limitation to the number of these things? It would be not so great if I should pay attention.

    Hello! I was still waiting for, because I thought it's improving: The program starts quite slowly. Until I see the program interface, it takes about 15 seconds (I use a SSD). Will the final version start up faster? (Just for comparison: Illustrator/Photoshop start in 5 seconds.) Specs: - Processor: AMD Phenom™ II X4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz - RAM: 8 GB - Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 - Monitor: SyncMaster F2380 (resolution 1920x1080) - Operating system: Windows 7 / 64 bit - Affinity Designer: 1.5.0.8

    Also bei mir geht es problemlos (Win 7 / Designer 1.5.0.7). Lass Dich nicht von dem Cursor (Minuslupe) verunsichern. Du wählst die Lupe (Zoomwerkzeug), drückst und hältst die Alt-Taste und ziehst einen Rahmen um ein Objekt herum. Nach dem Loslassen (zuerst die Maus und dann die Taste) wird das eingerahmte Objekt bildschirmfüllend angezeigt. Mit einen Doppelklick auf die Hand (Ansichtswerkzeug) kommst Du wieder zur Gesamtansicht.

    Unfortunately the Help in menu "Help" is only linked to the English version. But there is already a German help. In Win 7 you can find it here: C:\Program Files\Serif\Affinity Designer Public Beta\DesignerHelp\Contents\Resources\de.lproj\index.html German: Die Hilfe im Menü "Hilfe" ist leider nur mit der englischen Variante verknüpft. Aber es gibt bereits eine Deutsche Hilfe. Man findet sie unter Win 7 hier: C:\Program Files\Serif\Affinity Designer Public Beta\DesignerHelp\Contents\Resources\de.lproj\index.html

    Yes, it's the font "Beck Sonderzeichen". This font is displayed as the default font when I open affinity designer and select the text tool. I've attached the font file. BCDINGS.zip

    Thank you for your answer! 1. I've attached a PDF. I wrote two times the word text. Once in "Miriam" and again in "Arial". 2. For example: The "Futura XBlk BT" font is not displayed in the font list. But the font "Futura XBlkCn BT" is displayed. I've attached both ttf files. Font problem.pdf Futura.zip

    Hello! Apparently there are problems with the fonts management. Text is not represented in the Arial font, but in a special characters font). It is not possible to write a text in the Arial font. It works with other applications (e.g. Word, Photoshop etc.). Also, not all fonts in the font list are displayed - but installed. I hope I'm not the only one with this problems.
