I'm using the 1.5.0.5 beta, but this is a problem that persisted through the first two betas released. The Layers panel sometimes (many times actually) goes into an infinite loop (for want of a better way of expressing it) when you try to select objects to work on from there. It literally scrolls up and down by two to three spots all on its own, continuously and this chokes AD till it slows to a crawl. The only way to stop it is to closed AD and relaunch it, but then it starts again. I haven't seen anyone else report this, but I'm getting it a lot and its very disruptive to say the least.
