  1. It's there in the release version as well. Only when you align stroke to the outside. I don't think it effects the PDF - it's just a display issue. Same problem in Publisher.
  2. That's really annoying. I had to tweak that arc differently and now I can't create the dashed line problem. I did have to reboot the machine so that might have helped.
  3. I'm trying to produce an eps/pdf of this curve It always ends up like this. What an I doing wrong or this a bug?
  4. Or put the cursor in a frame and ctrl A to select all the linked text
  5. Its working fine for me here, unless I'm missing the point. I just use the text cursor to select the text.
  6. If I create a table and resize the columns or rows the row and column headers move with the columns and rows. But if I use the "scale" (bottom right) button the headers don't get scaled and it looks a bit of a mess to be honest. I don't know if this would be called a bug or "by design".
  7. It definitely depends on the zoom. Sometimes it moves up a bit, sometimes left. If you draw a box with a stroke & click it, I can see that the blue frame with the 8 circles doesn't move but the drawn stroke sometimes shifts a pixel. I'd guess it can actually move up or down and/or left and right by 1 pixel. I'm using beta 292.
  8. I'd say when I click preview objects move 1 pixel to the right. No vertical movement.
  9. Hi GabrielM - it hasn't happened since or before. If it happens again I'll let you know.
  10. Walt - could you try it using the trim box. Other boxes are fine here but not the trim box. I vaguely remember this issue in previous betas.
  11. An empty picture frame can convert to a text frame. A picture frame with a picture in it crashes when trying to convert to a text frame.
  12. I think Designer has always behaved like that. A soon as you convert to a text frame you can't edit the frame background.
  13. Beta 292: If I place a PDF by just clicking I can change the page number. But if I place the PDF by dragging out, then changing the page number doesn't change the page displayed.
  14. Thanks for 292 update. Some good stuff there. If I have a multipage document and I move the ruler origin, the ruler reverts to a reading based on adding up all the pages before the current page. It should just show the current page reading.
  15. I'm not getting that here and I'd guess other users aren't. I'm on Windows 7. But that facility could be useful - it means you can see what different fonts look like without having a block background to the text. I wonder if there's an option somewhere that I've missed.
  16. When 2 picture frames are added they change from being picture frames to curves. So if they have no outline to begin with they won't be visible. If they do have an outline that outline is unchanged and they will be visible. The new shape can be converted to a picture frame - outline or not.
  17. When I click on Preview Mode the page content moves down and left by a tiny amount - maybe 1 pixel.
  18. If you create a text frame on a master page and apply it to the pages you should be able to resize and move the master page text frame and have it reflected in the applied pages. You can have multiple master pages if you need multiple standard text frames.
  19. The release version (1.6) behaves differently to the beta. The x and y values displayed when an artboard is selected use an absolute value. This seems more sensible.
  20. This hasn't happened before. Went back to an opened document and the hand tool was displayed. I couldn't get rid of it without closing APub down & re-opening. I don't know if I had pressed something. Pressing any other tool or the escape key didn't help
  21. If top and bottom margins are different and snap to margins are turned on, then it definitely should and does happen. If you don't want that functionality just untick margin boxes.
