My personal bet is they will try to get closer to Ai as much as possible instead of focusing on webdesign features. There is simply less high quality competitors in vector graphics than in webdesign/prototype branch. Design/Prototype is too much competitive field to play right now (XD, Sketch, Figma, Framer, Invision Studio, Axure, UXpin, Justinmind, Supernova Studio, ProtoPie and many others).

No, there's no Blend available in Designer. There a blend/replicate tool in Designer's roadmap but i don't know yet any details about it.

Good morning everybody,
I am finding another thing that seems to be missing from Designer which I use an awful lot in CorelDRAW and which is kind worrying to me unless maybe I'm missing something. In Corel I have a blend tool. I believe Illustrator has the same thing though I don't use Illustrator. It allows me to create two objects and blend them together. This is particularly useful for creating interesting drop shadows and so on. Is there really no way to do this in Designer? I'm attaching a screenshot to show you what I mean. Corel allows me to choose which aspects of each object interact with one another.
Hopefully there is some way of doing this or it will be added as it seems like a very important tool to me.

This version of AD crashes more often then previous one i guess. Its usually down when i try to pick a color by color picker. Unfortunatelly, i am not able to reproduce this when i want to capture it. But its little bit annoying. Luckily i havent lost any progress due to autosave, so its not a critical issue for me. If i experience this again, i will send you that naughty .afdesign for sure

It should be done for sure, as a high priority feature. Look at Blender, it´s a good piece of software but community made Blender a masterpiece thanks awesome plugins.

Oh, they have already 1.6.0 retail? Ok, i didn´t know

We do have prototyping already working behind-the-scenes in the current Designer, but it is disabled while we work through and flesh it out. Hopefully 1.6 will enable this functionality :)

i have constantly problem with snapping when i have several artboards in project. I have a huge problem to snap f.e. rectangles to grid even when i checked "snap to grid" only, so no other snapping option checked. If i create a new project, snapping works perfectly fine so i absolutely don't know what happen during project creation, but the snapping is always crippled sooner or later. I work on a mobile design which is in veeeeery early stage and snapping causing troubles to me again. I can send you source to check it out.
 
Second problem with snapping is that if i have rectangle with text inside, it snapping by the text baseline and causing the main rectangle is badly positioned, often with 0,x position even if i forced positioning by whole pixels.
 
This is not the issue of the latest beta. I have it in your public release as well.

is there (in aff designer) an option to minimize the studio panel tools to single icons as its implemented in PS? I work often on my 15" inch laptop with fullhd and i have lack of place here because the studio has its own minimal width and cannot be minimized. Viewport is much better in PS thanks this and i will appreciate this feature in designer too, because i actually replaced PS by your sexy software :) Thanks.

Hey, you have to uncheck the "absolute sizes" and then you can set the radius in % which scale with the object. If you need, you can set the radius in px, then uncheck "absolute sizes" and designer recalculate this value to %.
