Previous versions used to start up quickly, whereas now it takes almost two minutes. I use an HP Pavilion i7 with 16gb of ram and nvidia gtx 1050 card on windows 11, I was thinking of downgrading.

I've been using affinity designer since the first beta and I've always found it very fast, I upgraded to version 2. A few days ago I upgraded to version 2.1.0 after 2.0.9 and I found that it slowed down a lot, even just at start-up I calculated almost 2 and a half minutes whereas before it was almost immediate. Does anyone have the same problem? Thanks

In the control panel of the Nvidia card I had set the use of the high performance video card for the 3d from any program. Since then, the Affinity programs have not worked anymore. Now I have set to automatic selection and everything is back as before.

I solved it, it was a setting of the nvidia graphics card. I disabled it and now it all works.

Sorry, it is installed in a PC with windows 10, until the other day I worked without problems, now the program opens, but when I create a new project I try to open another one after a few seconds closes without any message or warning. I have not installed any program, I have only started the program Meshroom 2018.1.0 but in portable version.

I have purchased Affinity programs since they were made available, so all licensed, I have a problem for about a day, when I open any Affinity application and try to open a project or create a new one, the program closes without any error message. I also uninstalled all the programs (Designer, Photo and Publisher) and I reinstalled them but it always closes for no reason. I would like to know what I can control or modify. Thank you

it is a very useful function, I used it on corel draw (CTRL + R) any action, modification, rotation and more is repeated on any selected object every time the function is called.

well, today I worked on setting price list a text style and I must say it works well enough if you are sure the final pagination but Corel's solution is much more practical for live changes.

Thanks for the advice, with regard to the solution to make two blocks of text is fine for a few lines, but if you have so many is not easy.
Having used for many years Corel Draw find the Affinity system impractical. In Corel I can move, delete and add all of the tab directly in the worksheet. (look the attach file)
I tried with the styles and is a good solution but I think you can speed up your workflow by placing a bar over the text block with the display of the tab you can change without entering the settings.

Is very useful the possibility with shortcup (in corel CTRL+R) to repeat last action, fill, move and more.

copying the style even though I change the font size, in corel you can choose which attributes to copy, not only on the text, and paste them to another object without being altered sizes.

It would be a very useful feature to copy the features of a text , color type, size and color contour like Corel Draw funcion.

It would be useful on the home screen when you open Affinity Designer as well as the work of the designers, there is the possibility to open the last used files.

I downgrade at version 2.04 and test the speed, to open the app, version 2.04 30 second from clik icon, the versio 2.10 about 1 minut and 7 second. now I wait a new upgrade.
