10 x 30 ft at 300 dpi will make your computer hot ! A poster seen form a 6 ft distance should be fine at 100-150 dpi. Here is a link for suggested dpi/distance . Ad with Cody-original.pdf -

Your file is quite large. At what size will it be printed? I resized it at a max of 24 inch (was 60) , then "rasterize and trim. It printed correctly. Ad with Cody.pdf -
Has V2 fixed Affinity's biggest issues?
AlainP replied to Kal's topic in Feedback for the Affinity V2 Suite of Products
Real professionals don't whine all the time on discussion forums. They make suggestions and work using other tools if the ones they have don't fulfill their needs. They usually don't cry for $50. -
I use On1 Photo RAW too after I quit Adobe. I went to Darktable for a while and then On1, back to Darktable... now I use On1 but what was said earlier about the cost always going up is what makes me think to go back to Darktable which is better that Lightroom and On1 in some features. For just a few pictures Photo is fine but when you come back from a photo shoot with 600 pictures.... you have to work overtime.

This is because of the usage of the msix packages. Programs are installed in "protected" area in the file system. A normal msi installer should be available soon and that will fix this problem. In the meantime you can search the forum for a .bat file than could be a workaround. But that does not fix everything.

Publisher V2/export in PDF impossible

Why so many disturbed people on this forum? Complaining for days for a 50$ software... I don't know about other members, but I'm so fed up, I'll come back in a month. Thanks again to all of you a Serif for such a formidable software suite for so little money ! -
Made some tests and, at first, the logic of "Hide/Show others" seems wrong, the "Visible/hidden" layer indicators work fine but the image does not come back. But if you zoom in and out, I use the mouse roller, layers reappear. It's certainly a bug but it's easy to work around until it's fixed.

You say that you "removed lots of Windows features, including the app installer..." Now.... you have a hard time installing msix apps. I have been a consultant for years, I can't say how many times people had "crippled" their computer by disabling (or removing) Windows features that were "using too much memory" or were "useless" according to some people, or for many other reasons. Very often their system was "broken" because of software like System Mechanic, CC Cleaner, and so many others. Sometimes illegal copies of Windows were also the culprit. It's a bit unpleasant, but a clean install of the OS is often the only working cure, but if you go that way, make sure you have a backup of your important files. It's often less time consuming than trying to make something work for days. Yes I know msix packages come with some drawbacks, but I think it's there to stay anyway.
