    Hello!
Your HSL Wheel Color is great. But it can be more great if you add in this panel a filed with HEX color.  http://imgur.com/nc8hkRh
PS Please, add a shourcut for Copy to clipboard hex color http://imgur.com/5FlZbmv !

I was wondering if a dimension tool is in the works for Designer. Something that designers/architects can use to label and indicate dimensions on drawings. For example, features such as CADTools ( a plug-in for illustrator), or the dimension tools in iDraw. I think such a tool will be a fantastic addition because I'm an architect and I think all designers of physical objects will probably appreciate it. But overall, I was wondering if such a tool was part of the planned future features roadmap.

Your history have already write all info about all object. And I want using only history info about one object.

And I'll bet. There have been cases when you made a number of revisions, but decided to revert back without overwriting the new actions. And in this case such history can help you.

Now, of cource, I can use hack. Revert history to needed state of object cmd+c, then to end of history and cmd+v. But it is not such content-depending

Is there way to realize dynamic button in Affinity Designer?
Dynamic Button is a button have a dynamic width (or height) depending on the text inside.
For example, I have a button with text "Example". Padding of button is 20px. If I change text inside button to "Example text", I want to save padding 20px. Is there way realize it using constraints or another features?

Press ⇧ (shift) + ⌘ (cmd) + I to invert the selection and hit Delete on you keyboard (make sure you have rasterised the layer, and that's selected in the Layers panel).
Alternatively Affinity Designer has a non-destructive object based Crop Tool. You can simply select the image you want to crop, change to the Crop Tool and drag the handles to "hide" the part you don't want.

If you have opted to use a clipping mask, copy the object to clipboard then go to menu File ▸ New From Clipboard.

Artem F reacted to MEB in Duplicate, Power duplicate and about rotate
    Regarding you second question:
You have to rotate the squares in place using power duplicate, them move just the last rotated rectangle to the right the distance you want, select all the rectangles in the Layers panel and go to menu Layer ▸ Alignment ▸ Distribute Horizontally.

    Regarding the third question:
There's no way to reset the rotation permanently. Here's a workaround: draw a rectangle bigger than the object you want to reset the rotation and place it over that object, then select both and press Intersect (boolean operation), or go to menu Layer ▸ Geometry ▸ Intersect. The rotation value should return to zero.

    Hi fedorov,
After selecting the rectangle for the first time you must first duplicate it pressing ⌘ (cmd) + J, then apply the changes/edits to this duplicate. When you press ⌘ (cmd)+J again, the next duplicate will integrate the edits. In your video you are NOT duplicating the original object first - you are rotating it immediately and creating the copies/duplicating with ⌘ (cmd) +J after that. This only creates a regular copy of the object.
Check this video tutorial about Power Duplicate.

    Hi fedorov,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
I believe you are using the Beta.
This is a bug. I will check if it's already logged and will add it if not.
    Thanks for your report.
