  1. Hey emmrecs01, thanks for the hint. I tried it out. I have converted a sample file (37 MB Raw) with the Canon software in different ways. Result: jpg 17 MB, tiff 92 MB, tiff 16 Bit 184 MB. I never thought the size difference would be that big.
  2. Hey timlt, until the developers offer a solution, the only option is to use for raw files additionally the Canon Digital Photo Professional 4 (look at the homepage of Canon support software) (and finally convert the raw files to jpg).
  4. I uploaded a picture. (All my other cr3-files have the same behavior)
  5. Thank you, please give me a link for sending the private file (about 40 MB) to you.
  6. When I try to open a canon CR3-file I get the following error message ( See attachement ). The file was created by my new Canon EOS M6 Mark II. These CR3-Files are between 30 and 50 MB in size. I would be grateful if this bug were fixed in the new version.
  7. I tap outside of the picture and the selection is gone. Then I can change the tolerance an try again .
  9. I have a similar problem with macros. I downloaded the free Macro pack, unzipped it (see attached "files.jpg") and tried to install it via Library Panel. Then I got the message "Unexpected Macro Format" (see attached "unexpectedMacroformat.jpg"). I downloaded the files several times, but always with the same result. I tried to install the macro "Uplift - Epic Skies" in the " Uplift Epic Skies Overlays", too. But no success. Do you have an idea what I am doing wrong? I tried to create a new category in the library panel (see attachement), but no success, too. Can there be a wrong setting by me anywhere? I made a simple macro (black and white). That macro I could export (and import). But I could not add it to library (see attachment).
  10. Thank you Callum, R C-R, Miguel, I think I am the only one with this problem. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I downloaded the free Macro pack, unzipped it (see attached "files.jpg") and tried to install it via Library Panel. Then I got the message "Unexpected Macro Format" (see attached "unexpectedMacroformat.jpg"). I downloaded the files several times, but always with the same result. Do you have an idea what I am doing wrong? I tried to install the macro "Uplift - Epic Skies" in the " Uplift Epic Skies Overlays", too. No success. That macro I could export (and import). But I could not add it to library (see attachment). (The change of the Extension was my second try because of the hint of Callum to try by using the Macro Panel - only therefore I changed the extension).
  11. Hi Callum, than you for the quick response. The library wants files as "macros" The macro panel wants files as "macro". Therefore I renamed the files from "....afmacros" to "....afmacro". Then I can see the files in the Macro panel - but nothing happens when I try to import them.
  12. Hello, I bought Affinity Photo (Win), Affinity Photo for IPad und Affinity Designer (Win). They are my favorite programs, especially Affinity Photo for IPad. I like to work with them and I do not want to miss them anymore. I thank the affinity team for these wonderful programs. My Question: I tried to installl the Macro pack, but I get the message: " unexpected macro format " (see attached file). What can I do?
  13. In a German video the program Affinity Photo for the iPad is presented. The moderators are very surprised at the possibilities that Affinity Photo offers. They fully recommend buying the program.
  14. Thank you Stanley for your research. I will have to accept it. Maybe I find a way to delete such internal fonts sometime.
  15. Thank you Callum, thank you Stanley for your answers. Now I know, that another app installed these fonts. I didn't it myself. I don't need noto fonts. Unfortunately I don't know, what app is responsible for this (I had these fonts long before I installed AnyFont yesterday). I tried to delete them in iOS Settings/General/Profiles, but there are only my five fonts I installed yesterday with AnyFont. It seems I have to live with 60 noto fonts, or is there another way to delete fonts that are not visible in the Profiles?
  16. In Affinity Photo iPad I see over 60 "Noto" fonts from Noto Sans Avestan to Noto Sans Yi. In my opinion these are all the same. They do not appear in Pages and are not displayed in the app "anyfont". What is the point? Are these fonts necessary ? How can I remove them?
  17. As wgphoto said: saving is very easy. I do so very often. Affinity Photo for iPad is the best program I ever had. I love sitting comfortably on the couch and use it. Now I use the desktop version rarely. And you must not forget: it is the first version. Therefore one must count with isolated errors. But I can live with it, especially because I know the weak spots and I save on time.
  18. Please upgrade the raw-converter for win and iPad (and Mac). Look at the video of Ruediger Schestag (in german). https://youtu.be/tHpuO-Z8Jdg

  20. You can already set the white balance by simply clicking on a spot in the picture (You must have opened white balance). I do so very often (therefore You do not need a separate color picker).
  21. I have the same problem (look at my post: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/42498-afphoto-data-backup-from-ipad-to-another-medium/). My afphoto-files are between 20 to 400 MB (!). The proposal to use the cloud für uploads, is for me not the right option. My download speed ist sufficient, but my upload speed is very very slow (the upload of a single bigger file can take an hour or more). Therefore I transfer bigger files from my iPad via PhotoSync or PhotoTransferApp to my PC (or vice versa). But to afphoto-files I have unfortunately no access. I hope that this problem can be solved in the near future. KoBu
  22. Thank you Lee D. To work with Affinity on iPad is so pleasant and genial that my afphoto-files on the iPad get more and more. Now I will backup each file until I can select multiple files in the future. KoBu
  23. Is there a way to backup all afphoto files (created with the iPad) in one go from the iPad to another medium? Securing each file individually would be a possibility but is more cumbersome.
  24. I have an iPad Pro 12.9" (first gen) 128 GB. I have no problems. To import raw-files can take some time, but that's in the same manner like on my desktop. Otherwise the iPad is fast enough. Even the app LumaFusion (video editing) makes no problems.
