Apple Motion does not help Windows users much... ;) 

Is there a way to export all brushes in one take, all assets in one take etc.? It seems I have to export every single category to seperate files. 
 
I think a way to backup and restore all individual aspects including workspace etc. is very much needed, esp. because there is a lot of switching between beta and release versions right now. 

Thanks for rolling back the new Wacom implementation. Now the pen works again... 

While a separated view usually is not liked a lot in windows (Gimp had to go "Photoshop" single window to get more acceptance on windows) it may be nice (and is very common) to float menues to get them out of the way esp. in a multi monitor setup... 

With the crop tool in PS I can set a size (like 100x100px) and then make a selection in the image and with enter-key get the cropped area in the px dimensions entered. T
 
If I set absolute dimensions and resize the crop border, the dimensions change accordingly. 
 
If I set the pixel size as a custom ratio, the result will have the right ratio but still the original pixels contained in the crop box. It would need to be resized in a second step. 
 
A "crop and resize to xxx by yyy pixels" option would be consistent with PS and really helpful...

It would probably be possible to exchange most projects via an intermediate format like PDF, as Affinity and PagePlus both handle PDF in a very intelligent way. The point is probably that even if Publisher could open PPP files they would have many features that are not compatible, not due to the file format but due to different features in the products. So exchanging projects would always be lossy anyway. Thus the intermediate format is less important. 
This is not a simple issue of "backwards-comaptibility" but of different programs - Publisher is a fresh start and not a successor of the "Plus" range, though it is clearly visible that the experience and certain elements of the Plus range do have influence in Affinity development. 
(just some observations)

I agree that this should be an option / set of options like most image viewers have them.
 
I would prefer to always fit the images into the viewpoint but with a maximum of 100%

The crop tool in AP seems to give more options, but I cannot figure out a way to set dimensions and resize an area to those dimensions any easy way that does not include copy paste to another picture and resizing that picture. 
 
It is confusing because the options of the crop tool look similar but work differently. If I set absolute dimensions and resize the crop border, the dimensions change accordingly. 
 
If there is no easy way please consider an option to "keep result dimension when resizing crop selection"

About the PSD: there is a setting under preferences / general "import PSD text as text rather than as bitmap". Maybe that helps :)
