Will do so. At the moment the file is a lot bigger than the one you have (ca 400+ linked images, 200+ populated A4 pages). It seems that when scrolling slowly, there is a lot of disk activity. Sometimes the images on the page are blurred, you'll have to wait a second or so to see a sharp image. Also when opening the resource manager for the first time, i have to wait a second or 10 to have a responsive program: during this 10 seconds Publisher is "not responding" (message shown). Just scrolled through my file, relatively fast, and after a page or 10 scrolled by... crash... with report. it's attached. Oke, thx. I'll wait, have stil 250 pages to shift to Publisher :). So by then, the fix is probably outrolled.

When disabling the hyperlink option during the export to pdf, the creation of a pdf with the option "all pages" works fine. When enabling the hyperlinks when creating an export pdf "all pages", an error occures (see quote). I have also problems exporting hyperlinks to a pdf file: some of the hyperlinks are not exisiting anymore in the pdf (see other topic i've already started).

Just installed version 1.7.2. Scrolling and crashing isues seems to be updated, but i still had a crash while scrolling (relatively fast) through the document? No crah report was generated.

Just installed version 1.7.2, still not all hyperlinks ( to anchors) will be exported to a pdf-file. Do i have to remake the not working anchors and hyperlinks in the apub file? or is a fix still coming?

Also in the beta (second one, some of the links are not copied into the pdf. The afpub is uploaded (without the graphic linked files). f.i. On page 112 the link in the description of the first graphic item is not working in the pdf (hyperlink: Maria Theresia jumps to page 45 where the anchor is positioned. There are several hyperlinks to the same anchor, none of these works in the pdf. Stamboom in beeld v2.afpub PS I've tried to delete one anchor (Maria Theresia de Decker), redefine it, relink it to the hyperlinks (had tot do this because the links had a red cross in the hyperlink panel) but after export the to pdf the hyperlinks disappeared.

When exporting a pub-file to pdf, some (not all) of the hyperlinks are missing in the pdf. In the pub-file the pdf-missing hyperlinks exists and works (checked via the hyperlink panel). I'm working with the latest version of Publisher (not the custumer beta)

not quiet similar. But you can see what i mean in the video. When you drag the asset into the document, it has no selection border with handles (see video sec 6 to 8) until you release the mouse button. Sometimes it can be helpfull to see this border immediatly when you drag the asset into the document.... Thx for your efforts...

Jon, What I want to say is: when you drag an asset to the document, you immediatly drag the asset on the documement but the selection borders of the asset are not visible in the document. Once the asset is on the document you have to release the mouse button, select it again an then you see the selection borders. The assets panel is in the default position.

When you drag an asset into the document, no selection borders are shown. Only when you release the mouse button after dragging the asset into the document and selecting the object again, a selectionborder is shown. Sometimes this can be missed (fi when dragging a rectangle big asset,....)

You can already hide selection when dragging. It would be nice you could also do this when using key-arrows

It would be nice to be able to show % as units in the rulers.

It would be nice if you could relink all graphics by just relinking one. The program would be smart enough to see if other missing links can be found by folowing the relinked graphic file and coresponding (sub)maps on the harddisk.

From a local drive. (to be exact: first i copied (and paste) the graphics from an indesign file, then i make them linked by changing the type from embedded to linked. Then i rename the graphic file to a more meaningfull name and replace the image with the renamed file.) I also see in Windows taskmanager that when i scroll, the power consumtion goes immidiatly to very high, GPU engine shows GPU 0-3D (my system: Graphic card Nvidia 1050 GTX, Windows 10, latest update for graphic card and Windows (1903) installed.) Another abnormality for this Publisher file: i can not export it to PDF with the option "All pages" selected. This gives an error saying: error when exporting to pdf.... Exporting with the option "All spreads" works fine. Perhaps this also could give a possible reason why Publisher is crashing?

Jon, i have not edited pictures once inserted. There was only one pdf file (witch contains an email) inserted as embedded. This was the only file reported to have external changes, but it is embedded and has not been changed after inserting (i have replaced this pdf with a linked jpg now). I've controlled the resource manager: all files are linked or embedded, the status always indicating "OK". When scrolling fast, Publisher crashes, even in the new beta (1.7.2). When all graphics are embedded, no crash occures.

Have had a crah agein in the 7.2 beta. Opening the file, wait 3 secs and start scrolling with a crash as result. No reports available. Just asking. Do i have to relink all the graphics in the document in the 7.2 beta. Because i have only relinked (an changed into jpg) the problem pdf insert?

Had one crash with the 7.2 beta…. Seems the embedded pdf is a problem. Deleted and placed the pdf file again. Moving the pdf image was difficult with sluggish response. So deleted this pdf image and linked a jpg file instead. No crash after opening and scrolling. Hope this stays this way. It also seems that the "preview" botton on top bar is missing?
