eddietheone got a reaction from Alfred in Crop and print
Thanks to all of you for your imput
Paul
I do not know what you mean by the resample option but I will look into it later to see if I can understand it a bit better
Alfred
Cheers I never thought of that but I can see how that would work. A couple of steps so to speak but I would get it right first time which is the bonus I am looking for.
Richard
If the crop presets are the options that are under the driver options in the print dialog box then that is what I use and where the problem is. For example I crop a photo to what I want. Go to the print select the size and then select fit to printable and that is where the problem is as it is either to narrow or to short to fit exactly so then back to the photo to crop a bit more etc to get it to fit. If i have misunderstood your comment then sorry please put me straight. I just want to crop a photo with the crop tool to exactly fit for example a 5" * 3" or a 10" * 8" before I go to the print option.
Once again everyone many thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Much appreciated.

Well trust this to happen. I just tried loading a few raw files and the message didn't appear. So I took a few more sitting here in the lounge and they uploaded ok as well.
Not sure now when I had my last affinity update. Not that long back as I only use this laptop for photos and a few other things so it can go a week or so before it is used. I am doing some photos over Xmas with family so I will see what happens in a weeks time.
No matter what I will let you know what the result is and thank you for the help. I just hate it when errors cannot be reproduced.
Cheers Edward Walker

Hi Eddie, welcome to the Affinity forums.
It sounds like you sheared the shape. You can do this by moving the mouse to just outside the middle handles so that the cursor changes into a pair of arrows, and this may have happened by accident. You can also do it with a field at the bottom-right of the Transform Studio page. The latter is probably the easiest way to reset the shear back to zero.
