  1. Basically, yes. Since the transactions have been cancelled or reversed. They no longer appear in my credit card account.
  2. Hi all, I have received this response to my ticket after 10 days, and when I checked my credit card account, those transactions have disappeared. What do you guys think? It looks like it's really an issue with their payment gateway. I don't like using PayPal, I only use it for merchants that only provide PayPal as payment method, but I'll probably use it for Affinity next time. Until when is the sale again? I'll think about it if I still want to purchase it.
  3. I browsed through the other thread link here, and one moderator said there are no issues with payment processing. So they have no visibility on what is going on from their payment contractor. Braintree is it? And braintree also don't have visibility on Affinity's system, they only process payments. Of course, I also don't know how they communicate with each other. So what happens when the pending transactions, 2 in my case, got processed at Braintree's end? Do they know that they should not process duplicate transactions for one product? What happens when I purchase through Paypal and then Braintree also process my first 2 transactions? Until I know what happens to my first 2 transactions I will not try another payment method. Because even if they may be pending, those are credits withheld from my account and cannot use.

I contacted my bank also, they told me the merchant has already acknowledged the transaction but pending(?), so they cannot reversed it from their side (I can't remember now what the exact terms). And that I need to contact the merchant to resolve it. I think that's another separate issue with the bank. The transaction is pending on merchant side, but to them it's already finalized.
  5. I tried to purchase Universal License, but payment failed. I thought it could be network error or I made a mistake when putting my card details. So I tried again and it failed again. I then checked my account and my credit card got charged for both. How is a failed transaction still charging my card?
  6. When I open a raw file in develop persona and I cancel it, the image becomes darker. Is this a bug or am I supposed to always remember to click on the Develop button? Going back to the develop persona doesn't reload the image properly. I've uploaded a short video showing this here https://goo.gl/DN9Uih Also, loading image really is very slow as you can see in the video. This is using a machine with i7 6700k, 32gb ram, gtx970 gpu, and loading from ssd. I hope this is not the case in the final release.
  7. Lens Correction Preset not working. I've read other posts that automatic lens correction is not supported. So I tried creating a preset. However, selecting saved preset is not applying the settings. Do I need to do anything after creating a preset and adjust the sliders? I can't find anything to 'save' the settings so I am assuming it will auto save it. I also tried adjusting the sliders first then creating the preset, but same results. Also, for other testers, can someone share their preset settings for fujinon lenses? Thanks
  8. Here's my comparison with Affinity Photo File size X-T2 raw (compressed lossless) : 30.2 MB afphoto : 589 MB - edits include lens correction, exp. comp., highlights, shadow additionally, I also find it odd that exported file size (jpeg best quality) is larger than the raw file
  9. I opened pdf files to extract vector image and also tried opening psd files to check how the application handles layers. I think there was an instance where a psd file did not load and so I tried to open again. The first one might have hanged and is still trying to load.
  10. When I try to close Designer I get the message as shown in the attachment. This also happened in the previous beta version. I have to use task manager to end the task.
