  1. I am afraid not as it is mentionned in the very first post.. "As this is a beta release, it is considered to be not suitable for production use"
  2. Hello I had the same trouble going steps back in history then....crash If you go back to the step "substract"--->"current selection"---->"set fill"(should work)--------->"current selection"------->"set fill" (crash) Symbol2.afdesign Symbol2crashreport.zip
  3. I tried again and now I got a crash each time now I want to undo some steps I get this message and the program crashes crash reports:3CrashReports.zip
  4. I've added screenshots to my first post(sync button off) I tried with the sync button on and I have the same weird behaviour 1) first symbol (orange) below, its copy(blue) above, both shapes selected , sync is on, tried the add function 1) first symbol (orange) above, its copy(blue) below, both shapes selected , sync is on, tried the add function
  5. Hi Alfred.. Have you tried it? Well just found that if you place the original symbol (orange one for me as the blue one is its copy) on top when you select the 2 shapes all the Add, Substract, Intersect ,Divide and Combine functions update the SYMBOL Icon
  6. If found something happening with symbols. -Start a new document size, background don't matter. -Open the symbols window -draw an ellipse fill with any colour (i used orange) -use this ellipse to create your symbol (you can see it in the symbol window) -Ctrl+C your shape (now symbol) Ctrl+V to paste your symbol as a new layer also named symbol -You can leave the same colour but I used a darker one for more contrast, changed my fill to dark blue -Now move one shape and select the 2 shapes ( ellipse for me) and here what I have noticed: -if you use the Add, Substract, Intersect or Combine functions THE SYMBOL ICON is not updated -When you use the divide function THE SYMBOL ICON is updated Is that the normal behaviour?
  7. Just tried the CTRL+X / CTRL+C / CTRL+V combinations and the snapping they all work fine for me!
  8. No troubles installing the new update. It first installed the Net.Framework 4.6.2 required, asked to close some apps before installing, it took about 5 min and then asked for a pc restart. After restarting Affinity Designer 1.5.0.7 is running smooth. Thank you.
  9. I too had the same issue set opacity at 100% but was not and got better result scrolling with my mouse to finally get the full opacity.
  10. I need to correct that today as I finally got my download but I had to try at least 10 times!!! Thank you Wren..hope now that they will work for designer windows...( didn't have time to try them yet!!!)
