Install Affinity

in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I have tried twice to install Affinity, but all I get when starting from the desktop is an error massage 'Affinity has stopped working'.

I have installed .NET and enabled Aero (which is horrible and the only thing I hate about Win 7) but to no effect - affinity will not run! Also Revo Uninstaller does not see Affinity and there does not seem to be an uninstall.exe in the program files
