@Pauls No luck I'm affraid.
-
OK @Pauls
I'll give it a try.
-
I ran a hardware test on my GPU to make sure it is OK.
-
Hi @Pauls
I have done this a few times. Tried it with Intel diabled and with Nvidia disabled.
Each time I get the same results.
Did you see my message that Affinity V1 apps run fine?
This issue only seems to be affecting Affinity V2 apps and nothing else on my laptop.
Even my GPU heavy programs like Resolve and Blender are fine. Very strange.

I tried a little experiment.
I installed my old Affinity V1 apps and they work fine.
I don't know if this is helpful.

Quick update:
I got the drivers for the onboard GPU and it is now where it should be in Device Manager.
I removed SuperDisplay Virtual Adapter as I no longer use it.
I now have a monitor in my Colour Manager.
Feels like I am moving forward.
Affinity Apps are still not starting.
-
-
The monitor is there but there is the strange Video controller thing there.
I have updated Nvidia drivers to the latest.

Lenovo Laptop
Intel i7
Nvidia GeForce 960
16GB Ram
1TB SSD
-
Thank you Otto
I only seem to have profiles for printers and scanners.
Not one for my display.
I just checked on a different laptop and that has one.
The identify display button does not seem to have any effect either.
-
Hi Paul
Just looking at that and there seems to be no listing for the monitor.
Maybe that's the issue?
Thank you so much for your help with this.

yes - you'll find them in the windows event viewer
I have the event viewer open could you please advise where I should be looking for you?

do you have an windows event log of a failed run up attempt we can investigate.
Is that different from the crash log?

@Pauls You have cracked it my friend!
When I tried to make the zip for you I was getting an error on one file WebCoatedSWAP2006Grade5.icc
So I removed it from the folder and now EUREKA it works!
Thank you so much for all your help.
I hope this thread helps other users with this issue.
