When click layers/groups, their position will auto shift, very sensitive. When hold down CTRL key and click layers/groups, they will be auto duplicated, very sensitive. Same situation happend on 1.6.5.135 but much more easy seeing these when working with big file(heavy filter/adjustment calculations) on 1.7.x/RC2. 5 Artboards with about 400+ layers in total, not including 10+ adjustment layers, 10+ layers effects(Gaussian/Shadows) and 11 symbols. Can't reproduce this problem now, same Mouse and Driver using in AD 1.6.x for about 2 years is okay, only happend in 1.7.0.293.

Number increase insanely when use mouse wheel change value on the input field, no matter scroll up or down, number going bigger...

After watching Adobe MAX 2018 Keynote, when I see Real time blend mode preview on Photoshop, Multi-Point gradient on Illustrator, Smart responsive layout / plugin support / Voice interactions / lots of new features per month on Xd, and I turn around look at those features stay on roadmap for years, (sigh~), Good luck is the only word in my mind. If develop team doesn't focus on Designer right now, can't you just release some api for plugin developers? Anyway, I'll stay on Designer, for a while, hope to see some new things on it.

Embeded Document can not export with slice any more (win10 64bit 1.6.5.123), hopefully it's just a bug in 1.6.5.123 because it really SCREW UP all my exports! Now when I need to export pages to my client, I have to rasterize Embedded Document ONE BY ONE in all Artboards! Please roll back this function to eariler version, if that's a new behavior design for Embeded Document, you better fix Symbol's bug first(auto change to Group) and mention it in update log

Symbols always have unlink bugs in many versions, I suggest use ‘Embedded Document' to do the same job, it's more stable than symbol and you can even switch states (artboards) from the parent canvas.

When I am working with multiple artboards or layers, sometimes I just want to export something I've selected for quick without change slices, "File - Export" will export everything by default, hopefully can auto select exporting area depends on active object, that really helps a lot.

Symbol is so unstable that always turn into Group automatically

No idea why when I export .eps file from affinity designer, and import to Ciname 4D, the vector lines become mess, but it's ok when I am using Illustrator export the same shape.

This is my new tutorial for drawing a can with affinity designer v1.6.0.81, hope you enjot it~ My custom keyboard shortcut setting already provided at the begining of the video. I use "Carnac" to diaplay the key I pressed, but sometimes it's not showing the "shift" key when I press.

Force to save as kinda "filename_af1.6.afdesign" when saving the file with higher version of ad/ap, it's more safe for us when forgetting backup the source file manual. "Force" means I shouldn't overwirte the old version file in the new version software, if I do that, there'll a warning dialog show up.

.EPS exported from Affinity Designer can't be read by Cinema 4D, no idea why but it's possible be opened in AI, hope to improve this.

I write this command because I need to make perspective distortion on text/shape on my work and I found that kind of warp tool has stay in AffinityDesigner roadmap since 2014! So I think I can do this in Fireworks and transfer the selected objects back to AD by a keyboard shortcut for quick. How to Install? - download and unzip the zip file below, you will get the "Send to AffinityDesigner.jsf" file. - copy & paste the .jsf to Fireworks installation path under "\Configuration\Commands" the full path should be like this: X:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Fireworks CS6\Configuration\Commands How to Use? - export eps from AD to Fw, - make any changes in Fw that you can't do in AD, - run "Send to AffinityDesigner" from Commands menu in Fw, - now AD will auto load the vector/bitmap shapes from Fw without manual saving & opening, - you can bind a keyboard shortcut for this command for extremely fast! Why not use Illustrator? I can copy & paste from both applications! - Yes you can do that, I just write this for those fw users whom didn't buy ai. Send to AffinityDesigner.zip

There're so many measure tools and plugins for ui design software, and I think measure is only for helping designer to tell programmer the size/gap/color... and that's the important & useless work for designer -- we already know the layout setting but we still have to measure just because 'they' don't know. So I wish this feature in AffintiyDesigner: - export kind of config file that stores all layout information, - a plugin or extension to let xcode / android studio / ... to import this config file then the develop tool can auto generate basic layout I don't know if exist this possible, but that's the thing I haven't seen this on other design tool and wish AD will has this feature, just an immature idea.

Really hope official can release some simple api that allow us develop extensions for AD/AP, especially seeing sketch updates so quickly, hope to develop some free extension for affinity software for filling the gap.
