  1. Hi, thank you for replying. I think i spend 3 hours today on this. I can't manage to snap them at all with the snap enabled, with cmd j and after dragging with cmd. It will not snap to another one no matter what. all the options are selected. If i am doing in the transform box it will match but still with the seams. I need to be able to learn how to do these seamless patterns like i would in illustrator. I saw that a lot of ppl are complaining about these lines that appear. Schedule
  2. Why si this happening i am at the end of my patience, tried everything, it doesn't snap so i can't add two blocks of patterns and most of the time white streams appear and when i export it as a jpg this is how it actually looks. Schedule
  3. Hi guys, I need some help please. So I created an envelope and a pattern and now I would like the pattern to appear just on the envelope and on the rest of the paper to be white, but when i select them both I don't have any options in the top right corner like submerge, add, interset. Any ideas? Also when i create the pattern I added one then with ALT i dragged another one then with ctrl J multiplied them but when I dragged it with alt it wouldnt snap on the shape that I wanted and aligning it by hand is not an option when you are trying to do patterns even if my snap option is enabled and all the options there are clicked. Another thing is when I am trying to export my pattern these white lines appear everywhere! Many thanks!! I spent 2 hours trying to figure these things out before posting so I did try quite a few combinations grouping them, differnt layers, conferting to curves, having open paths, closing the path, all that lot.
  4. hi, So i was wondering if i make a shape like a circle from the preset ones on the left menu how can i modify it, can i add nodes and then start pulling them like with the pen tool? Also, If i draw a shape with the pen tool how can I split it. For example in illustrator, I would hit x and would split my curve and then i could do whatever i needed with it. Now i found that i need to draw two shapes and then go to the add, substract, intersect but i need to have closed curves there. Many thanks
