Prior to the current build update, the Affinity Photo app worked flawlessly.
Yesterday, encountered what appears to be a safe mode attempt to screen and cursor inoperability. I opened up all MacBook Pro apps but the issue isn't the stock video card. The problem is Affinity Photo, and excludes the same issue with the current builds of Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher.
Attached screenshots show software current build and MacBook Pro Late 2014 specs running 10.14.6.
Attempts to edit and image or create tool based pixel lines, shapes etc causes the same issue, where all menu items become inoperable as the cursor moves toward it, turning the item purple background. Furthermore, the screen then begins to split into shard like patterns as the cursor ceases to move. By this time, the cursor is inoperable and the only means to control the app is to manually button shutdown.
When restarting the mac, the app appears open and only a force quit will allow use of the entire mac.
Never encountered this issue with the mac or the app before.
Please advise. In the meantime can you send the prior build of Affinity Photo so I can get things done and out of the office for clients
Sincerely,
