  1. I see what you did now. I hadn't noticed the "step" curve since it was hidden behind the lines. Thanks for your help!
  2. Thanks very much, MBd. logo_texture1 is what I was going for. Just so I understand how this was done (designating the % transparency to get 100% transparency and 100% opaque), can you help me with the specific steps? This was what I was able to do: 1) Select layer/layer group 2) Layer -> New Adjustment -> Curves 3) Select Alpha in drop down But then how do I designate the % transparency levels? Thanks.
  3. Need some help from community gurus. I'm sure this is a simple question for many of you, but not being a designer, I can't seem to figure it out. Take a look at this logo. I used the smoke brush to achieve the grunge effect. (logo_texture.afdesign) We're printing these onto plastic and metal surfaces. However, the printer has come back and said that the texture cannot be achieved with laser etching or silkscreen printing due to the smoke effect. They said a one-tone or two-tone flat color would work. My question: Since the effect I'm trying to achieve is black with fading transparency to achieve the smokey/gradient grunge look, how do I edit this logo to get that to work so it prints either using one-tone silkscreen, or laser etching? logo_texture.afdesign
  4. I've been looking for info on how to do the text warp in AD, similar to this post and https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/264-shaped-text-request/. Information on text warp for AD has been hard to find in the web, but there's plenty of info on PS. Help within AD didn't give any useful info either. Can someone explain how this is can be done?
