We did have a similar issue with an earlier beta when switching from viewing Master Pages to Regular Pages (or vice versa).

Hi Walt, As things stand this is to be expected. You have to imagine the stroke decoration as sides of a box drawn around the text frame.

Yep, most of our cards are on the table for 1.8 now. We're already planning future updates, but there are a lot of loose ends that need tying up for 1.8 too.

If you mean the 1.7 release, then 'probably' but no guarantees. If you do really mean 1.8, then yes, no problem, we always aim to be backward compatible.

Apologies if this seems picky (or obvious), but to be clear, if you open and save a document in the beta version you might not be able to open it again in the released version after that due to a file format update. We do suggest you make copies of files you intend to open in the beta to avoid any accidents. :)

Hi Walt, The original hardcoded modifier for <Shift> when using this function was incompatible with assignment of a user shortcut which included <Shift> so the hardcoded modifier has been removed.

Hi OldBruce, Thank you very much, these issues have been noted. [Edit] I would expect 'Scale with Object' to alter the weight of the rule when the frame is resized.
