Vector and Photo Personas
- The Vector and Photo Personas will not be ready until later in the beta. The message captions you get when you select these options have been updated to be more direct and reflect this.

Known Issues
- On MacOS Mojave, on non-retina displays, the default highlight colour used in several places is pale blue and the contrast with white text is poor.

New Features

- The Tools toolbar has been re-organised. Requires 'Clear User Defaults' on start-up
- Column Guides (Grid Guides) for master spreads and spreads have been added
- Additional spaces and special characters have been added to the Text > Insert menu
- The facility to specify precision for readout of angles has been added in Preferences
- Document History now supports multiple redo paths

Menus, Main View and Studio
- Updated the icon used to represent tables in the Layers panel
- View > Preview Mode now hides snapping candidates
- Fixed issue where switching from master view to page view could display wrong spread
- Improved 'Zoom to Fit' to account for rulers
- Docked panel menus could be generated incorrectly after docking a floating panel

- Fixed crash when double clicking text frame size handles with move tool selected

- Triple-click in text now selects a line. Quadruple-click selects a paragraph
- Fixed inability to delete various text breaks easily
- Fixed issue with right aligned tabs initially appearing outside the text frame

I’d suggest you create your front and back spreads and place vertical guides to mark the folds.

Shortcuts are a problem for us. Photo and Designer already use many of the common ones, and we want to avoid changing behaviour between the apps, especially when considering the integration we have planned. I agree Ctrl-W is clumsy though. I think someone suggested using an 'F' key...

For mac we have introduced a new auto-update technology which allows us to supply patch files which can be much smaller than the full download. This is the first instance I have seen of this process failing, although it is still quite new for us.

TonyRS - if you could supply a crash report that would be great. If not, don't worry, we will have to keep an eye on this and investigate if it becomes more than a one-off.

Is it a pre-139 document you are editing in 139? If so you may have to recreate it... sorry. If not and you can reproduce the behaviour from scratch in 139, it would be good to get a step by step recipe.

Hi VolkerMB,

We would recommend you do this at export time - no need to change your document layout. In the Export Dialog choose 'All Pages' rather than 'All Spreads'.

I agree we should do a better job of preserving margins if you do change from Facing to Single though.

Patrick will tell me off for responding in this thread, but please try the Superscript / Subscript options in the Character Tab under 'Positioning and Transform' which synthesize, rather than the OpenType options under Typography. Unless I have misunderstood your issue, in which case please start a new thread. That said we may have to do something about the typography options because they can be quite misleading.

Thanks for your research. We have fixed this problem reloading master pages in the latest beta (139) which you can find at the top of the forum. It would be great if you could update and let us know if you have further problems. You may have to remove and reapply any masters that have ‘disappeared’.
