Hi, Can you give us any more details? Basically in the simplest case this appears fine for me. @Seneca - it would be useful to know if you are also running on a macOS earlier than Mojave? [EDIT] There is a crash dump in the other thread about this problem, which indicates the tester is running Mojave and the crash is related to the processing of spelling underlines. There were changes in this area last week so it adds up. Any further information you can give us could still be helpful though.

Hi A_B_C., Sorry I missed your post - yes, it is specifically the action of converting an 'embedded document' (pdf, psd, svg, affinity documents) from embedded to linked that creates a document that cannot be re-opened. As it happens, conversion between embedded and linked is fine for placed raster data (jpeg, png etc). Hopefully we should have a fix soon. In the meantime, as always, but especially if using 330, please keep regular backups.
