  1. Call me old fashioned... new bottom layer, rectangle, fill with colour, lock layer, soldier on ;-)
  2. Love the reptile dude, the subtle use of noise and retro feel it has. Your style seems perfect for AD.
  3. Nice job Jon, I like your drawing style and the use of the grainy shading. More!
  4. Cool Milos, what app are you using to generate the font with?
  5. Haven't given it the full test drive yet but did some playing and loving it so far.
  6. Yep, this is a very much requested feature. Sounds like it's coming soon. :-)
  7. Looks like a good start, but I think the 3/4 view of your original says more than the straight on view. Have you considered doing the same 3/4 view just as a flat version?
  8. I agree eejits. The crossover potential of various styles with this suite is just getting started. The combinations and possibilities are literally endless. It's very exciting.
  9. I agree, nice style and sense of humour! I remember tinkering with Expression as well... glad you found Affinity, these are great.
  10. Not this time around for me. They were looking for more of a UI/UX web design type of tutorial.
  11. Yep, a simple example might be say you have a box or rectangle and you want to change it to a keystone shape. I'd like to be able to go to the direct selection or node select tool, select the bottom 2 nodes and scale them inward all in one move. I'm really missing this ability currently. Of course this is a simple example and I could just grab each separately and move them but it's more work, and compounded over a large piece... well you get the point. :-)
  12. I'm really missing a vector eraser tool as well. :-)
  13. I would love to see user defined rotate or scale locations in Designer/Photo! Combined with the ability to scale or rotate individual nodes. Pretty please? ;-)
  14. I'll give the new version a test too. Booleans are a big part of my work flow. A non-destructive workflow would be awesome, as long as it doesn't become a mess once "applied". :-) Speaking of which, I have yet to "expand" a stroke yet with the new beta... hope to see some improvements there as well. Cheers Matt for all of the hard work.
  15. I was going to suggest the erase blend mode as well. It's in AD and it's awesome.
  16. I initially had this happen to me as well, but it seems to have corrected itself... and is working as expected now. Using 10.9.4
